I'm not sure if you could compare them yet, Bleach has been going on for years and now it's in its down state but it's had some really epic and interesting arcs. Ao no Exorcist has only 15 episodes of course it will be more interesting at the start than a bleach filler. At this point I find Bleach much more interesting as a whole, but Ao no Exorcist is the anime that I'm craving for because right now it's at a really interesting part.

TOTALLY Blue Exorcist. I obsessed about Bleach last year and confidently say Blue Exorcist is WAY better than Bleach.

I agree with Tr1shaPumk1, bleach was really good and i obsessed over it for a while, but Blue Exorcist is a lot more interesting then bleach. Also as for bleach i think they could of done a better job, at least as far as arc placements go. I mean the arcs were good an all but i did not like watching ichigo and Ulquiorra fighting in Hueco Mundo one episode and then everyone is back in karakura town for an arc like nothing was going on!!!!!!!

I started watching Bleach around the 25th episode. Although it is a standout series, I never really was too obsessed with it. I even had a couple of plushies of Ichigo, but I never was "Okay, I have to watch the next episode as soon as it is on." Blue Exorcist is completely different. I love this series!

I would have to say Bleach at the moment! I like this anime a lot! But Bleach had some critical climax's! When Ichigo fought Bakura, got his Bankai, had to get his bankai back! It was exciting to see that and a lot of other battles along with the plot of Aizen becoming so powerful, right now I think Blue Excorcist is on par because it's barely getting underway, but i don't know if they would be able to keep this going like Bleach, even though Bleach is going under a bit. I'm still hoping for a pickup
