Usagi Drop is probably my top pick for the season, other than that....

There is a lot of stuff that is OK or Good enough but nothing really stands out so far. That might change though, sometimes I show just kind of plods along for a few episodes and sudden slams into High Gear and is awesome from that point onward. Right now everything is pretty much laying down their basics before getting into the meat of things.

Couple a weeks from now people's ideas of What shows are good might change dramatically.

for now I say Go watch Usagi Drop. It might not be your cup of tea but most people I know have fallen in love with it after just 1 episode.

taking reviews on ann to heart.. cool story bro but i usually try to watch things myself and despite being the massive perv that i am, there is nothing really good about r-15. It's base is unique or the synopsis but the animation which is just choppy, music, and just bland characters make me feel like I am watching a show that I have seen a 1000 times already. To be honest I like dirty shows but this... meh If i need a show to watch like this I have aki sora or yousga no sora or even kiss x sis for the lulz.

On topic ... I would highly recommend usagi drop as well, yuru yuri isn't that bad but not for everyone and hmm...

I would also recommend Usagi drop, No. 6, and Natsume Yuujinchou.
On the topic of ANN reviews, its about the reviewers feelings of the show, not the show overall. I know they missed Madoka when it first came out, now look what it has become

They're ok would like it if crunchy roll could've obtained the licence for Sacred seven, Mayo Chiki, Blood-C and checking out Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi and Kamisama no Memo-chou. You see all these anime's are hurting my hard drive lol so I'm going to upgrade to a 3tb external hard drive which could solve my problems however since I'm paying to watch anime on this site I would like to watch the majority of these anime's on crunchyroll.

To be honest, R-15 is pretty bad now.. but thats more due to the censorship that anything. Its one of those "Wait for the DVD" type of shows.

Art style is really good with a lot of cute girls, so having all the nudity on DVD will make it a lot more watchable then it is now. At least its better than Manyuu though, which often has entire screens full of white lights censoring whats going on.

Right now the only shows that seem interesting to me are No. 6 (I loved the first episode!), YuruYuri ( Will watch soon), Usagi Drop (Will watch soon), and A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives . I heard mixed reviews about R-15 so I might watch it to see if I like it or not.

For this season at CrunchyRoll, No.6 is my top pick. (If you also use NicoNico, I recommend Uta no Prince-sama, my pick for the season.) 6 seems to have a bit of everything, though in my eyes, it seems to be more an affront on humanity and utopian socities. It's definitely a fun concept to watch!

And... to stir the pot on R-15. Yes, the animation is... sub-par. Yes, it's censored fanservice central. (And of the type I don't care for.) It's walking a fine line on my dropping it. But I've not. The story seems to be 2-pronged in my eyes- that geniuses, while gifted, also still have some problems of their own. And it uses comedy to address that yes, teens do have a sex drive. Yes, some of those 18+ fanfics are written by people younger than 18. They know this. They're playing with it. Tie in the problems faced by both geniuses and... porn to minors, and it's actually an amusing story underneath. But if the story starts to wane for more fanservice, I'm done. Something in me says they're not going to do that, though...

The one thing that stood out to me about R-15 was the line about how people judge him based on a superficial sense of morality. Everyone has fantasies, and almost everyone uses some kind of visual aid for their fantasizing, to judge someone for fantasizing more often, and even going as far as to write it down and publish it, is just ridiculous. I'm hoping that show continues to deliver laughs and sneak in a bit of depth to the story. But honestly, if you go in to that expecting anything beyond fan service and an average story you're really setting your sights too high

Usagi Drop is excellent. If you need something to compare it to as far as mood and tone, Honey and clover comes into mind.

But then, both are josei :)

Technically not summer anime but the second season of The World God Only Nows is good. Hanasakeru Iorah is also good and has new episodes.

Most of the summer line up is pretty bad. Their are many that i like which included: sacred seven, kamisama dolls, R-15, mayo chiki, and some others. But im really looking forward to the fall season.
