hi folks
i had created a premium member account few days ago, but i dont understand something. yesterday i was trying to watch BLUE EXORCIST but when push the watch button a messenger apear " sorry but this show is unavailable in your region". how is posible if you had pay for all access to the crunchyroll anime they dont let see it? this happend with GINTANA i dont checking if happens with more of them. but im really upset cos i was thinking this legal service it let me watch it. Dont understand why crunchyroll dont say that before join as member. I dont like watch stream anime in ilegal sites but if i cant see here id use to. ¿this restrictions happend only in Europe? or is only for Spain users?

Urgh. I feel for you, since CR is horribly obstructive when you're in a country besides North America. Also, this is the wrong forum. It should go in the help section I think.

My only answer is watch what you can't on CR somewhere else, and watch what you can on CR.

CR is a legal site thus is subject to the laws of every region. in some cases certain regions dont allow anime to be streamed/air

the only way i think u can do it is to disguise your IP but thats frowned upon

means you can't watch in in the region or place where u live in. and I guess you can view the lists of animes you can watch even before purchasing the anime membership. doesn't mean that ut an anime member is that u can watch all animes here.

Yes because it's a legal site you are going to get those. Region locks suck.

You can only watch shows that are available in your region. You can tell what shows are available if you view the anime listing from the ANIME tab. The titles shown in this page are automatically filtered to show you ONLY the shows available in your region.

Unfortunately, any other link to shows that aren't available in your region are still available on the site, such as those shown on the marquee banner on the main page. If you click those, you'll be directed to the page, but you won't be able to view it - regardless of whether or not you purchased a premium membership.

I blame CR for not explaining these things clearly enough for people to understand - because quite frankly, it happens more often than would be hoped. Take note that purchasing premium membership DOES NOT unlock videos not available in your region. Premium membership status only gives you immediate access to new content via SIMULCASTING and also removes ads from most parts of the site.

I had the same thing happen to me just this week. I went to watch the new episode of Bleach and I was region locked when just the day before I was not. I tried several different animes just to make sure and none of the ones I tried I could watch. Was there some new code or policy that took effect on or around the 19th?

I'm active duty military stationed in Japan but I'm only here for a few years so I don't know quite enough of the language to watch the shows as they air, unfortunately. I know that we have the same issue here with Xbox Live on some things and in order to fix it, we had to call up Microsoft and explain the situation. I know this won't be much help to the OP, but is something like this possible for me?

P.S. edsamac, under the Anime tab I get this notice, not sure if the OP does for his region "The listings below are for display purposes only. Most anime videos are not available in Japan."
