when your mom is a god damn loony tune that's about to break down, I don't think I am going to stop complaining.. Fuck it, either I get the hell out this fucking house tonight or I will just kill myself

Nothing worth dying for, though. The only one stopping you from getting out of the house? You. In fact the only reason I'm only staying at my house is because I like being a dependent-- I like not paying bills. I like saving up my money and buying things I'll be able to resale at a heightened price hike. Cecil, be pragmatic and take the lead in your life. Or follow your words. I don't have much to say, I can only really sympathize and pity you. Other than that, I can't help you.

Please, quite acting like such a saint.

Just people I wasn't born in africa doesn't mean I should ignore the fact that I'm unhappy with my current situation and pretend that I'm grateful for it

Life is filled with unexpected things, might be beautiful, and might be awful. but then again...life is just a way to reach the Unending life, the afterlife.

I hope that wasn't directed at me. I did say I didn't completely agree with the statement.

the message is directed to people that are criticizing others even though they themselves have done some complaining-about-life last week

Yes, you're right. I've come to a point where I'm fed up with people saying I can't complain or dislike my current situation in life just because someone is better off elsewhere. However one should try his or her best to make things better for him or herself instead of complaining about it 24/7 for the sake of attention. (Like a few people I know)

But one thing that pisses me off is when someone tries to stop you from doing your best in life and achieving you ambitions because "you already have a nice home with a nice family, there are plenty of people who don't have this, you should be grateful. Why do you want to have [insert dream career here]" They're even worse. I do appreciate I have a lovely family and better off than most people, but you only have one life. (I had to get that out of my system)

You can't compare your daily problems in the suburbs to someone poor in Africa. Because you have never experienced such problems so it's hard for you to actually "believe" that someone is worse off. It's easy to imagine I know, but not having experienced such a situation makes it hard for one to put themselves in the shoes of another.

To a degree. While he has a point, we're human, we all complain, simple as that. Just because I may be aggravated about something one day doesn't mean I'm not grateful for my life! I know I'm blessed, but everyone has bad days. It's the people who complain it ALL the time that are a problem.

But it's so fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. But yeah, ALL the time is annoying. Now that person needs to get deprived of some privileges and then say something.

YES! you took the words right out of my mouth, especially in the first sentence of the second paragraph

It's just funny because the status itself is complaining about others' complaint.
