I'm lucky not to have so terrifying dreams like that.

Mine are these:

1. when an unknown guy tried to harass me. I ran and ran away from him but in the end, he was able to catch me. I tried to break free but the man was so strong. I thought help has arrived when I saw one of my brothers and my father. I called out to them but they didn't hear me. They went past my way like I was not there. With that, I gave up. The man, seeing that I've already lost hope, began to touch my body.. :tears::tears: At that, I cried. I thought of all my dreams in life, and how that man will take them all away. I felt so hopeless and angry... But to my surprise, he didn't do what I thought he would do to me. He kind of hugged me instead. Then I woke up. It got good at the end but when I woke up, I was crying. I was so afraid and so angry.

2. when I was chased again, this time by vampires. The only thing I can remember about this dream is that I was running (again) away from them. But again, I was caught. Then I saw it's fangs at me and when it was about to suck my blood (errr..), I woke up.
I didn't dislike vampires before but I dislike them now. The idea of them sucking my blood.. They've become horrifying creatures to me now. I was glad when I woke up from this dream. I felt scared but boy was I so relieved. I thought that if I am awake they wouldn't be able to chase me anymore.

I had one where I was an old man still in high school, just could not manage to graduate. Terribly depressing, even woke up mad at myself for being stupid then remembered I finished high school centuries ago.

I was watching hentai in the living room, and just when it was getting good I hear my Mom come home.

So, I'm frantically trying to turn it off, but it's too late, and then the dream ends.

I had sleep paralysis a few years back where I'd repeatedly dream of an old woman strangling me. After a while I sort of got used it and these dreams faded away; I haven't had any since. I don't often get nightmares but if I do it's usually a "falling" dream or drowning in a custard pool. Haha

I always have nightmares for some reason.

first off everything kept catching on fire
I kept having to put the fire out with blankets.
I sat on the couch with someone I dont know,
he was a cute dark haired guy. He was really arrogant though,
the stereo turned on and some robotic voice came on,
started counting down, so the guy next to me kept mimicking it.
then the stereo some how got his voice on it, and was mocking
the guy right back in his own voice, but it was more deranged and freaky.
I dont really remember what happened after that but I remember flashes
of blood, body parts, these grusome hands coming from the walls, screams
and people crying. It was all of us.

All of a sudden we were finally out of the house.
We got police to come look inside the house
for there was blood everywhere and it was a mess.
When the policeman stepped inside it was clean,
and nothing was diturbed.
then, all these hands came up and grabbed us, brown dirty huge hands with claws and blood on them,
we were screaming and crying and the cops had already left,
everyone was running away and I had this dog with me,
she went into the neigboring house for some reason
and I kept calling her and she finally came out,
and then my mom and I guess denise were with her (my aunt)
came out of the house.
My mom kept wanting to go in the house
I kept tugging her arm and begging her not to go in.
I was crying frantically too.
The three people that were with me before I looked back and they were all struggling
in the window of the house. Dieing and crying.
No one else saw it but me.
The damn dog went into the house and
my mom ran in to go get it
I heard this bloody scream from her the instant she went into the house.
She came out laughing and telling me she was kidding.
I was just glad she was okay but damn!
then as we were walking away,
I was looking around, everyone laughing and in hot tubs
I felt so weird,
I woke up on the couch of the house
Nothing unusual was going on
but my nerves were shot.
Turned out me and my mom were living there.
when I went in her room she was still asleep.
I woke her up and got her walking to the living room.
All of a sudden I was passing out and so did she.
I woke up in a garage with chains on me and a gag in my mouth
thats when I woke up for real in my house.
All alone

I haven't remembered any of my dreams in such a long time. I think I'm broken, or smoked too much weed.

Well, I have had multiple dreams where a family member(s) or someone I know gets killed or turned evil by something similar to this:

Recently I've had nightmares about stuff I do at work.
Last nightmare, I dreamed that after installing a new transmission on a car, I'd forgotten to tighten the screws so that it fell off while the customer was driving it.

I have dreams like that every time I've done some major work on customer cars..

i had the same dream 3 times over the course of 4 years when i was a teenager, and have never had it since...

i find myself awake, lying in bed flat on my back with the sheets up to my shoulders... it's completely dark save for faint light coming in from my open doorway... the room is silent...

i lay there simply looking around, motionless, wondering what time it is and why i'd woken up... after a bit i begin to realize that if i fix my eyes on something and resist blinking, the light begins to fade and the room darkens... i think it's cool and try to see how long i can keep my eyes fixed and open before blinking to see how dark things can get...

i could swear i hear a faint noise, but it comes and goes... some time later, i realize it's coming from the darkness... my morbid curiosity keeps my eyes fixed so the darkness can creep closer in hopes i can make out what exactly the noise is...

they're whispers... i couldn't make out what they were saying, so i had to try harder to make it louder... only, that's not the way it worked, apparently... the wouldn't get louder like i'd originally thought... there would just be more of them whispering, overlapping each other keeping whatever they were saying unrecognizable...

i thought i saw something... not only do the voices get louder, but something appears to get closer... now i start to get nervous and think i should get up and wash my face... only, i can't move... all this time i'd been motionless, not realizing i couldn't move even if i'd wanted to...

my door's still open, my mom's room is only a couple of feet away... i call out to her, but nothing happens... my lips don't even move... panic begins to set in, and my calls slowly ramp up to screaming in my head, frantically trying to make my lips move and make any sort of sound...

the darkness seems to get stronger, resisting blinking and eye movement... it creeps closer, the voices getting louder and louder until i begin to feel faint tugging at my sheets on all sides of the bed... paralyzed and mute, save for eye movement, i'm powerless to do anything...

a finger moves... there's hope for me, and it feels like it takes everything i have to simply get another moving... an eternity, it seems, passes before i can move a hand... i can feel the presence closing in me, smothering me with a cacophony of voices i still don't understand... i close my eyes and muster every ounce of strength i have to move...

the minute i do, i shoot up in bed, the sheets flying off... i'm awake, finally awake now... breathing heavily and looking around, i find nothing out of the ordinary... it felt so real, like i was awake... my mom, watching tv in her room, didn't hear a thing... she knew i wasn't
joking when she put a hand on my chest...

you'd think i'd remember something like that if it ever came up again... apparently not... the second and third time were essentially the same, only when i actually woke up would i then remember everything...

there was another one i only had once where i found myself in the middle of nothing... no sky, no ground, nothing... anywhere... just white all around me...

i was climbing a series of rectangular cubes seemingly floating on top of one another... they seem to go on forever... with no horizon, it feels like i can see what looks like these cubes going on infinitely in either direction...

there's a whooshing sound underneath me... i look down and see that infinite expanse of cubes getting shorter...

they're falling... into where, i don't know...

frantic, i begin to climb faster... my eyes are fixed to my feet, willing them to climb faster, but they can't... what seemed like miles away only moments ago is now only feet... i look up and, from one moment to the next, see my infinite stretch of cubes gone, whittled down to about a dozen or so...

i climb up to the top and wait for my inevitable fall... each cube falls quickly and deliberately, seemingly getting sucked away rather than falling... i think to close my eyes before the last one falls, but feel it useless since i'm surrounded by nothing...

the last cube falls, and i'm left alone... the weird thing is, i don't have the sensation of falling, but rather just feel like i'm stationary... floating...

maybe that's what falling feels like when surrounded by nothing, who knows... dreams are weird... thinking about it, i guess i wouldn't classify that last one as a nightmare... i still think it warranted telling, though...

I have nightmares sometimes where someone I love dies or something sad happens to them and I wake up in tears.

Well, let me tell you about the absolute worst, most sickening nightmare I ever had. This isn't one for the kids. Ok, so there's this big pile of crap, right? It's shaped like a giant tank., and its walkin' around on two legs, goin' on a rampage and stompin' on people and houses and stuff. And this giant turd is carrying the nastiest missiles you ever saw. Like, whenever it launched one of its turd missiles.. whatever it hits - people, trees, buildings - turns to s***. My hometown, my family, my old school, my girlfriend, old man John... Everything in that turd's path turned into s***.

Unfortunately, I never had that nightmare. It's from Metal Gear Solid 3.
