Enjoy living the life of having no real female relationship other than with your mom, living in denial from reality, blowing your load ONLY to anime porno, collecting plastic anime chicks depict in sexual manners and most importantly never getting laid. On second thought if your desperate enough you could always hire a prostitute (not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just saying).

Oh and don't bother trying to hook up with a female anime otaku because most of them are too busy being high and masturbating to their Yaoi la la Land to have any interest in you.

So are you really sure your a anime otaku ?

Thats the saddest thing I ever read.... and its scary... really scary... I don't want that :(

As for my profile... Crunchyroll but that Otaku Alert thing on my profile... but I am not sick like what you describe...

I don't think it's a bad thing.
Although, I hope I can never get tired of animes. I want to be able to love it as much ( when i old ) , as much as I do now. :)
if someone doesn't like you for who you are, well then..that's their problem, isn't it ?
if they can't accept the fact that you like/love animes, then screw them.
they don't know what's it like, so who are they to judge ?

This is why I have this somewhat "screw the whole world" attitude. Liking anime/manga is no different than outsiders enjoying video games or comic books (even movies based on them).

I don't think its a bad thing at all, In fact I haven't had many encounters with people who do. The only people who think its bad are the people who are up themselves from my experiences and even then its not like they don't do something similar.

I honestly think someone loving anime doesn't mean they are totally a wierd person in real life. I don't know what the hell this negative stigma is about loving anime and people not really interested in someone hence forth. Is it like we are going to grow fangs and suck their blood, turning them into an otaku? NO, it just means we happen to love anime. I think if someone is going to treat you that badly chao then they really aren't worth the trouble. Who cares what other people think? ultimately its up to what YOU think and what YOU care about in the end. I'm a 29 year old male that has been watching anime since i was about 13 and i have not met someone yet that has openly criticized me for being interested in anime. If they do they aren't worth my time. I hope that you someday find someone that enjoys the hobby as much as you do but just know that all of us in here and basically otaku's of some form or another so your not alone!

I'm a girl, 25. A huge fan of anime and manga. I've started reading manga for as long as I can remember *thanks to my bro*. I found iCarly dumb and for a 26 yr old guy to actually Tivo it, he's so not worth it *u should dump him*. My partner hates anime, found it childish but recently things have changed and we both enjoy watching it together :)

All it takes for one to love it is to actually watch it and from thr, u'll definitely get hooked!

Hey as long as your not a typical yaoi fangirl who dedicates their life fantasizing about ridiculously unrealistic homosexual relationships of epic proportions, or some other female equivalent of a male anime otaku, I'm sure you'll be fine .

Im sure you would someone who would understand and accept you... though I dont really understand why certain people behaves like that.. and how they misjudge people just by knowing a part of them...

Sadly, anime isn't widely accepted in western culture. It's slowly gaining more followers though. And with people like Stephen Spielberg making a Ghost in the Shell movie and James Cameron directing Battle Angel Alita movie, (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/manga.php?id=2427)
I believe that there will be a culture change.

When it comes down to it, it is just ridiculous because on a basic level, anime is just a cartoon. And you're just a fan of animation. Which in my opinion is totally fine.

Not really.

Even several of the holy bible's stories has been put through japanese animators. Namely with Jesus' story on Earth. Muchless that there's several manga renditions of the Holy bible.

I actually remember those, from Flying house and Super Book. Those were actually some of my early intro to Anime/Manga. There's honestly nothing bad about anime/manga in general. If you ever see Vic Mignogna talk about it. He's a christian and he honestly put it best, there's good and bad anime just like there are good and bad movies. It's like every piece information your brain consumes and it depends on what you do with it. I've even talked to my pastor about it just to see his perspective. and he agreed with what Vic Mignogna said. Whether it's from multiple points of view, religious, secular, whatever, anime is fine, it's mainly cultural things that are the hurdles I think.
