With my Orioles playing piss-poor this season, and as much as I love baseball since it's my number 1 sport......I never thought I'd be happy to hear that there will be an NFL season this year.
So being a Ravens fan too, of course I was happy to hear that the lockout was over, and perhaps save me from the misery of the 2011 Orioles season.
But I thought the whole lockout was just ridiculous, players and owners making far more money than we'll ever make in our lifetimes....FIGHTING OVER MONEY AND OTHER CRAP!!!
I'm also glad however, that there won't be an 18 game season, and yes there will be pre-season games. I know a lot of people hate pre-season games, yet they fail to understand why these "meaniless" games are needed.
So, are you ready for some football?

I could be way off, but given the limited training over the summer, we might see a lot of lackluster performances.

Of course the NFL is gunna agree with anything.
If they didn't they would be losing money if the lock down continued. . .
I wasn't worried.
But let the season begin aye!
