i eat about 1200 calories a day because I'm trying to lose weight and force my body to use my fat as energy so i guess i eat normal amounts

even if u were to drink protein shakes to build muscles, they wont build by drinking them ALONE. u need to lift weights. do push ups and sit ups to build ur abs and arms. what are you looking to build? u shouldnt cut back on food to lose weight. when u do the exercise and lift the weights ur body will automatically lose the fat and turn it into muscle. although, ur only 15, by depriving urself of nutrients and building muscle ur body isnt going to grow to its full potential . there are different forms of exercise to build different parts of your body. you should research this and find out what works best for you. or ask a personal trainer. they will tell you what you need to know

please read this, it may help you ALOT. i'm experienced.

if you are into bodybuilding and wants to get fit and look hot like me, you should know that 50% depends on your training and the other 50% depends on what kind of food you consume. now genrally we teenagers have a hard time gaining mass muscles, especially if you're 15.

i do not recommend you buying protein shakes nor creatine because it'll probably be a waste for now, just go to a gym and apply there and get many advices as possible from your trainer how to improve and learn the way to build muscles such as bench-press, military barbell press etc. it looks easy and simple to do but it takes alot of practice for a newbie to get a hold of idea (i'll say about 2~4 months).

if you take protein shakes without any cardio exercise nor bodybuilding, it'll be a waste and you'll get fat in the stomach area and look like E.T.

yes, protein shakes helps build muscle. so does creatine.
being a 15 year old is not a problem, there is protein shakes for 5 year olds.

do not overtrain especially when you're young, it'll make you stay short if you OVERTRAIN. but just training generally okay.
1200 calories is not ENOUGH. jesus phuck even my fat ass cat eats more than that. eat around 1600~2000 calories a day or depending on your height or etc. train regularly, especially cardio if you want to lose weight, there is no other way and don't touch the fat.

if you want to build muscles just to impress girls, don't bother, it takes pure dedication and girls are very dumb, naive and exploitable that age (that's why it's so sweEETttT).

another thing, if you are taking protein shake

the best effective way is:

1- after your workout, 15~30m after.
2-right when you wake up in the morning.
3-before you go to sleep.

cr users can't be fat.
the are asians and asians are think like chopsticks.

muscle milk is pretty gud. or u can try that metrx shit they sponser on World's Strongest Man or w.e but that's if ur hardcore. Also, dont lift like every day cuz it's bad for ur muscles. every other day is fine. lol..u count ur cals

well if u can swallow the stuff.. then go ahead and drink some.. it duznt seem to help much tho, my dad had a diet of that for a while (and yes, he DID do some excercise to go with it and NO, he was NOT fat.. extremely skinny in fact, he just wanted to build some more muscles and add a bit more weight) and since he was older he drank a cup a day.. but didnt seem to work much... of course, still try it, wat didnt work for him duznt mean it wont work for u

I don't think it's wrong for a 15 year old to be drinking protein shakes. I used to drink protein shakes but I found that regular workout in the gym plus 2 hours of swimming works best for me. I have to keep my body in condition when it's the off season.

there is nothing wrong with protein shakes just remember they help give you more protein but should not replace a meal the most important thing is to concentrate on a proper diet such as eating lots of steak, porkchops, and drinking lots of milk. make sure you get the proper amount of protein according to your body weight and consume the right amount of calories. also like they said dont worry about supplements till your like 17-18.

It's certainly alright for a 15 yr old
but protein shakes are only usefull if u workout, other than that its just extra calories and u gain more weight
u should only drink protein shakes after a workout to help replenish ur muscles and speeds its recovery
or u can use protein shakes as a meal supplement... its ur choice
but u should workout, 15 is the best time to develop ur muscles

Anything with creatine, or however it's spelled >_> Isn't necessarily good for you.
I'd say the best thing to do (for me, some people might not like it) would be to get a blender...put a banana in it, some ice cream, some milk, and ice...crush them up into a milkshake form...then enjoy ^_^
It actually gets you quite bulky.
