Falling Asleep

It's currently 04:14 in the morning where I am right now and i'm having serious problems in getting myself to sleep. ¬.¬
So how do you get yourself to fall asleep? What do you do when you can't? Does warm milk actually work?

Tell me your experience of sleeping. Do you easily fall asleep in a click; or does it take a lot of will power and energy to get yourself to lay down tight and close your eyes.

If you tense all your muscles while holding your breath for 10 seconds then you fall asleep faster xD

Lay in bed with a book and try to stay awake to read it.

Yeah Insomnia is pretty annoying... My standard sleeping time is 2:00 p.m (minimum) , and I can't sleep any earlier..... But back to the topic on getting to sleep, you could take some sleeping medicine... I also heard from somewhere that you go to sleep faster when you excercise, because it'll be easier for you to fall to sleep when you are exhausted or tired

think about something really stupid until the thought is so confusing ur mind gets tired out and u fall asleep ....

It usually take me at least an hour to fall asleep. There are a few things I do that make me tired such as going for a late night drive or watching a movie. When none of those work I generally just stay awake and make sure not to nap during the day. I'm pretty much beat the next night and don't have any trouble falling asleep.

I tend to get into bad sleeping habits purely from procrastinating on the net for too long but what works for me is a sleeping eye mask. It just shuts my brain straight off.

Yeah it does work, but just don't become so dependent on alcohol.

Dunno when I can't sleep I can't sleep, nothing you can do about it. It means your body is out of sync, for example I workout everyday and the one day I didn't I couldn't get to sleep that night. Its all about routine and leave your window open all day to let fresh air in, make sure your room is nice and cool coz humidity is a major sleep buster -__- gross.
