I originally thought it was possible, but after reading everyone's posts here, I don't think so anymore.Well, while I don't think it's possible to watch all of them anymore, I'm still gonna watch as many as possible.

As TheAncientOne has said earlier, it would be a momentous task to be able to find the earlier examples of anime, due to the fact that they mostly likely haven't been preserved.
Perhaps it would be a simpler goal to just watch all the anime in a decade.

Even if you are sticking to just one genre, it's impossible to watch them all.

Lets attempt this method....

I have 15 screens and I play 15 anime at the same time. How long for me to finish over 1000 series?

It is 100% possible.
Probable is another story.
This is just asking in conjunction to whether or not it is " Possible "
Realistically, no one would ever go through the torment or chore that is watching every series ever created.

Now let's get onto the theory in order:
- Living in Japan a decade or so prior to the creation of Anime
- Assuming someone is ridiculously rich, uncle died, inherited $1b to support for a lifetime
- Started watching since the first anime was released(no idea so I'm going to assume 1960)
- Assuming episodes take 1 week to produce, or rather the fact that you can't produce something faster than someone can watch it as the base theory of this
- Watching for example 48 episodes(20mins) in one day(unlikely but the minimum for healthy sleeping habits, i.e. 8hours), but taking into account that there wouldn't be that many releases in just a SINGLE day.
- Apply this rule throughout the week, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, 51 years
And there you have it. It's not even necessary to theoretically have more than one monitor/TV to view. Thus essentially paying full attention and watching EVERY anime in existence.

Now probability?
Somewhere less than 0.00000000000000000001 LOL.
That was fun.

Probably if you had no responsibility's and watched is 18hours a day. Even then you would have to watch alot of boring and bad shows which would suck.

i too believe it is possible. as a military brat i was forced to move around alot so i had the time to watch alot of animes. i even have a list of over 1,000 or more anime that i have started and/or completed watching, since i started the list when i was 5 as a hobby. though at the time yu yu hakusho was popular, i made sure i started at the begining with astro boy.

and even though new series start ever season, i still fine time to watch everything. between school, work, and friends, i always have the time to finish a series over 500 episodes (like one piece or detective conan) in a span of 75 hours roughly. it may seem impossible but im an artist at heart willing to conquer my dreams in order to creative the most spectaular anime series and most elabrate, horrifying, and compelling video games in the world. and in order for me, personally, to do that, i've devoted myself to learning everything i can about ever single angle there is.

and to do that... ill watch every anime known to man X)
simple.

I'm gonna be honest and this may sound weird, but if I'm gonna die, I'd rather die doing something I love i.e. watching Anime, than from some disease or something.

Well maybe if you watch anime nonstop for the rest of your life while the new animes keep streaming in too. Highly doubt anyone who has a life outside of a couch or desk is able to do so.

I guess it's possible if someone really sets their heart to it and watches at least some anime everyday. Sure it sounds like fun, but the thing is, not every anime is worth watching. Some just aren't good and you might not want to watch it. I know that I wouldn't.

You'd die within six months, I guess. You need to watch them like...everyday of your life and 24/7. But you need to eat too. And you can't even do THAT if you don't have a job.... So for HUMANS and every animal out there, it's impossible. I bet you can't even do it if you were immortal!!! Some anime out there really suck... xD
