Came here to say School Days too. The ending was just perfect. I highly doubt the ending would have been as good if the show wasn't so terrible, but nonetheless, I will defend the merit of that show as a satire/breakdown (even though I doubt this is what was intended) anime to my friend who thinks its the worst show ever to be made.
