I might bother some people with this but..
"Christians" is not what God wants anyone to be. Christianity is an organized religion tied to traditions, decorations and the whole lot. A long time ago the word "Christian" was a derrogative term used for those who follow Christ. I'd rather not be known as a Christian. I would rather be known as one who follows in the footsteps of Christ, and to a lot of people that would seem like the same thing but Christianity can become so routine and boring and that is not what following inthe footsteps of Christ is. to be a Christian and to be a Christ follower are different. A Christian meets in a church every Sunday, so does a Christ follower. But a Christian spends every other day of the week on themselves while a Christ follower spends every other day of the week on others as well as themselves. A Christ follower is someone who is willing to go out of their way to be all that they can be for everyone else. They are the ones that would trade their life for a stranger, just like Christ did on the cross. I'm not a Christian but a Christ follower... well I'm trying to be a Christ follower and not a Christian

I love that point of view!! It makes a lot of sense. Its true growing up in church your taught to read your bible everyday and to pray to everynight and so on. After growing up hearing it all the time...it doesnt become a life choice, its more of a routine you've been following every since like preschool years. Its kinda like school. Getting up in the morning and then following the same schedule everyday for your classes. Its like automatic. Walking with Christ should be more real and not like an automatic thing that you do weekly. Thank you for sharing that...I like your term "Christ follower", do you mind if I use it? Your messege really got to me XD So thanks again!

I am going to side 100% with fae on this matter, no one can be changed or converted by mans hands, it is Christ working through us that changes peoples life's, we are human nothing more, but we can do all things through and with Christ.
