I don't think so. I can't stand housework. I'm getting a degree to avoid such a situation, so I can hire someone else to do it Honestly, I can cook, clean, etc., but I don't enjoy doing it. It's very tiring. I think that in a realtionship both man and woman should have a job, and both should share the responsibility of doing housework. For example, I cook and the guy does the dishes ( I hate doing the dishes )

My mom has a job and does most of the house work, however, my dad works longer hours but he sometimes does the house work if he has the day off or something. ^_^ Personally, I don't think woman should be grouped up and shoved into the kitchen. I'm not saying that men should do all the house work or they should hire a maid or anything of that sort. I just think, whoever has the shorter hours and/or easier job should be the one doing a little more house work than the other one, if that person just happens to be female, so be it. However, the one that has harder work and/or longer hours should pitch in once in a while too.

EDIT: Typo~

EDIT: Again Typo >.<

hehe for me, doesn't matter male or female, we all need to cook good food so that we can feed ourselves.

I think with the way society is and the way women want their men, it's probably better for the wife to cook but I'm a good cook so she doesn't even have to be in the kitchen unless we're roleplaying or something. In terms of taking care of the kids, I think women are better nurturers in general and usually provide a better foundation for their kids. Cleaning-wise I also think women are usually better at it because women are supposed to have more dexterity which means they are more detailed. Do I think women are better at it? Yes. Do I think they have to do it? No.

(One thing I was thinking about just now was that most women, no matter what people here might say, still think of money as a big part of factor when marrying. Women <especially Asians> usually say that they won't or don't want to marry a guy who makes less money than them. Men, on the other hand, usually don't care and many even don't want a woman to make more money than them. In order for this to come true, the guy will have to have a steady job <at least> and probably work hard to bring in a lot of money. If the husband works more outside the house, I think the wife should do a bit more in other areas. Of course, it works the other way as well if the wife works more.
I don't want want my wife to give up her dreams but I want to support the family so I'd secretly want her to take some time off while the kids are young or to work less. I don't want my kids to be raised by nannies and after-school employees.
