Kim Ji-seok to make comeback in new tvN's TV series



Korean actor Kim Ji-seok will take on the male lead in an upcoming TV series on tvN, making it his comeback project since completing his mandatory military service.

A press release by tvN announced on Wednesday that Kim will play the role of Shin Ji-hoon, who is the C.E.O of a coffee shop, in the new season of "In Need of Romance," which is slated to air every Wednesday and Thursday nights starting mid-June.

The statement went onto explain that Shin who has a long time girlfriend named Joo Yeol-mae (Jung Yu-mi) will later get involved in a love triangle with his best friend, played by actor Lee Jin-wook.

Following the success of the first season, "In Need of Romance 2012" will follow the everyday story -- work, romance and friendship -- of women and men in their thirties.

"I can honestly say that I feel a strong burden in trying to immerse myself into playing my character. But I'm feeling great that I get to work with such great actors like Lee and Jung," Kim said in the statement.

Kim Ji-suk, whose real name is Kim Bo-suk, is well known for his roles in TV series "The Slave Hunters" (KBS2, 2010), "Personal Taste" (MBC, 2010) and sports flick "Take Off" (2009).

I Need Romance 2 is all about women’s lifestyle



Riding the success of the first series, I Need Romance season 2 with all brand new cast are ready to parade the lifestyle of three city women.

The drama will center its story on those three women who happen to be in the same age, their career, love and friendship in depth and realistic way.

The stills from the poster shooting were out, showcased its four main stars Lee Jin Wook (Spy Myungwol), Jung Yoo Mi (Que Sera Sera, movie The Crucible), Kim Ji Woo and Kang Ye Sol (My Princess). They’re all in black attire , all smiled and looked relax.

Jung Yoo Mi plays Joo Yul Mae, an enthusiastic music composer and music director. She’s in triangle love with her old friend Lee Jin Wook and warm man Kim Ji Suk. Kim Ji Woo plays Sun Jae Kyung, beautiful and capable woman. She’s a shoe designer and married to famous announcer and pretended to be a perfect couple in front of people.

Kang Ye Sol plays Woo Ji Hee, a girl next door who dream a plain happy marriage but decides to live as single woman.

This light and trendy drama will debut June 20, replacing Queen Inhyun’s Man.
