I use my web browser (chrome) to watch crunchyroll. When I like an anime series I favorite it, and the best way to get back to the anime is just to look at my favorites by clicking on my user name from the drop down.

Your ad/site skin breaks the way this works.

Odd, it works fine for me:

What versions of Flash/Chrome are you using? Does the site behave the same in Firefox/IE?

I use I.E., my drop down menu is also behind the banner. Now I am sick of either closing out the banner or go to another page, to access my drop down menu.

For I.E. yeah, the banner blocks the drop down menu. Not much you can do.

But for Chrome, you can get yourself a nice, clean, white background that doesn't block anything. Here's how. Click the wrench icon then highlight "tools" and then click on "extensions". It should open up a new tab, click on "Get more extensions" and it will take you to the extension page. Where is says "Search the store" type in Adblock Plus. In the search results click on "Adblock Plus for Google Chrome (Beta)" and when it takes you the page with the description and everything, click on "Add to Chrome". Yes, it's free.

After that installs, close down Chrome and then re-open it and visit CR and you should have a nice clean interface and no ads so you can enjoy your premium status even more.

Well, it works for me.

Yeah, I know I can use adblock to block the ad, but I want to point out to these guys that their site is screwed and they should fix it. This seems like the type of site that might actually have good ads that I'd want to click on. I actually think the ad looks kind of cool. Its just horribly broken.

Thank you for giving out the info though.

I think it has something to do with the fact that it's a flash video:

Same problem on Safari 5.1 running on Mac OSX 10.7

No problem in Firefox 5.0:

I note that I did have to allow "adtechus.com" in NoScript before the ad would even appear.

As with others, the same problem does occur in Internet Explorer (version 9).

We're aware of the problem and how it only happens on certain browsers. It was an issue that the ad provider needed to resolve but they didn't resolve it. The ad has ended so it won't show up again.
