I like this idea. but I hope when we add them in there. We have an option to start from start episode 1 to currently episode like 200 ect.

This won't change nothing to what I watch tho, unless you start getting rid of them, then it would be a problem.

fair enough i guess, but series like Junjou Romantica don't have a 'add to queue' button, so i can't keep track of what i'm actually watching right now..

It's probably because the series isn't hosted on CR. The queue right now has it's "Play" and "Play Next" buttons and for a series that's not hosted on here those buttons would be a bit difficult to use. Not saying they can't make use cases against such instances, but right now since the queue is in it's infancy I wouldn't expect them to go out of their way to make it so that you can add a series that you're not going to watch on CR to a queue that is meant to be for what a person has in line to watch.

oh, true.. i didn't think of it like that, thanks. I'll try to find another site that can provide a watchlist for me.

I don't get why you have to get rid of my watch list, I liked that feature.

Favorites is likely to be replaced by a list of shows you've rated. So there'll be your Queue/History and then your Favorites/Rated shows. This should encompass most of the features from the watch list and favorite list.

I don't really need a list of shows that I disliked... [not that I only rated those] but do you catch my drift? I don't think the my queue in any way replaces both watchlist and favorites, maybe one, but not both.

One of the most requested features is now available to all users – My Queue. With that, you can better manage shows that interest you. On every show page, you will see an “Add To Queue” button. On every episode page, you will see an “Add Series To Queue” button. To access My Queue page, just click the username drop down on top of every page. We will roll out My Queue to our mobile apps as well.

Please be aware, as part of this effort to improve your user experience, we will decommission Watchlist and Favorites on September 1, 2011. If you have been using either to manage your queue, there are buttons on both pages that allow you to add shows to your queue easily.

Have fun and enjoy watching more videos!

I love the queue but there needs to be some way to keep track of the shows you have watched like there was with the My Watch List.

We need some kind of area or something to keep track of shows watched PLEASE!

Multiple comments have mentioned need the ability to track shows watched. Help us understand - doesn't Viewing History page serve that purpose? If you click on the View full history link on top of My Queue page, it takes you to the existing View History page. More feedback is appreciated.

Surely it's wouldn't be too much trouble to keep the watchlist as it is, does upgrading the site mean we must loose something in return?
If possible it should be kept as is, as the "Queue" seems to be something different rather than an upgrade, but many others (myself included) use the watchlist to keep track of what they've seen or are viewing, as i often forget what ep i last watched a few weeks back or even months if i put it off, and the watchlist keeps track of all this wether the anime remains on CR or not. (and in other cases if it wasn't here to begin with)
Though i'm not disputing that the queue isn't helpful, it is, it just serves a different purpose than the new system. Hope that helps in some way to explaining it.

The View History page is more of a short term thing, we want something more long term. For example, being able to see how many episodes of a series we've watched even after a period of time has passed. I also like being able to categorize the shows into which shows I've already finished or plan to watch in the future.

I'm also wondering if the episode # stored can be changed. If I'm watching a show and accidentally skip forward to another episode, I want to be able to manually fix it so if I "Play Next", it will play from the episode I want.

I understand what you mean with the Viewing History page, but what I believe everyone would want is an option right next to the show name to keep track of the shows watched, just like the option in My Watchlist. (ex. 6/12 for some shows so far this season). Where the counter used to go up after you had watched the newest episode.

Is that clear? If not I apologize.

Although I barely used either the favorites or watchlist features, I can understand how some people use it. They "collected" views like they might collect DVDs. They want some way of knowing how many views they've collected.

Anyway, I don't really see the usefulness of this queue feature. For shows that are releasing new episodes, I'd like an interface to know exactly when the episode will air (similarly to the "Now Showing" and "Coming Soon" part of the main page's sidebar). We all know Thursday is Naruto day and Tuesday is Steins;Gate day, but what about new anime that we haven't gotten into the habit of watching?

Also, I probably won't use the new queue feature precisely for the same reason I didn't use favorites or the watchlist: it is on a page separate from the homepage, and I don't often go back to watch shows that are already complete. However, when I did do that (when watching Erin or the previous two seasons of Natsume), I found the watchlist useful.

i think you should still be able to favorite an episode. It should still have it display a list of favorites on your profile because not everything in your queue is going to be your favorite it might just be something your watching. It should record hat you have watched. I don't understand why you have to discontinue them. why not change them a little to work with the queue feature?

The queue feature that hulu has is nice why not try and use them as an example?

I find this being forced to use the new option to be a bit of a slap in the face to users, its like being told while eating a meal at a restrant that because theres a new dish i have to eat it instead of the dish im eating now. This is a big fail on Crunchyrolls behalf for there users. I use the watch list to keep track of the shows and ep. of shows im watching and also to list all the shows im trying and that i may like. if you want to improve somthing make the watchlist multi tab setup so we can drag and sort the shows to streamline how there listed, like having a tab for shows curently being watch, ones finished, ones on hold. I have no intrest in this queue option, did not ask for it and don't want it.
