this is exactly why i like the watch list. it's an organizing tool that makes it easy for me to keep track of where i am in the shows i've been watching/plan to watch. the history page is ok, but it doesn't show the "big picture" in an orderly way like the former does. it would make me kinda sad to have to say goodbye to the watch list.

I understand why decommissioning Watchlist.

Why decommission Favorites? Why not go back to using it as a way of listing and voting for your favorites?

The need to use favorites as a fake queue has meant I can't share it on twitter ... why free favorites from being used as a Queue, only to kill it as soon as it is free?

Thoughts are it's a good way to change the watchlist, but perhaps Favorites should stay since it includes more than series or episodes favoured. By the way the message is saying the loss of favorites means not only shows that can be added to the queue, but also finished shows we just want on record of having watched, and non video items that cannot be added to the queue such as favorite groups, friends, articles and more. I think those should be look upon either being kept or re-adjusted so there's the option to have them on profiles before completely removing FAVORITES is the plan is to remove all favorites as it's listed.

The adding of shows/episodes to the queue is decently understood. Hope you keep taking the feedback and keeping up the good work!

I mainly use my watch list as a check list of what I have seen, like look at mine, a whole bunch of completed shows, yes it is like a collection. The viewing history has way too little time remembered. I also want to mark a show I have seen all of as completed.

So i went to watch sacred seven just a minute ago and i couldn't remember what episode i stopped at, and thats when i realized it. Did anyone else notice that the queue doesn't show how many episodes you've watched of a certain show....i thought the queue thing was a cool idea but if it doesn't tell me what episode i stopped on...well that just kills it for me.

I don't see the need to disable the Watchlist. It is useful for me because I like to keep track of a show's status: i.e. Watching, Re-Watching, Dropped, Finished, etc.

The queue can be useful for weekly watching, but it gives you NO INFORMATION AT ALL about the status, nor does it inform you of what episode you have already watched. Are we just supposed to have "faith" that we are going to get the correct episode automatically fed to us?

I also noticed that when you add a new show to the queue, it goes automatically to the bottom of the list, and there is no way to edit your list. I like to put the shows I am currently watching up near the top.

This queue is sadly lacking in usability. You guys really need to make it more user friendly and keep the watchlist in place. Your method to just implement this and remove other useful features is very draconian, especially since the queue feature itself looks like an actuary's spreadsheet and only really has one function.

FAIL.

I like the Netflix style queue system. Keep up the good work! Currently I don't see the need to decommission the watchlist yet maybe after a while because it takes time for people to transition from one system to another. The favorite system can be decommission tho I don't see much use in it. Like many have already said, it needs an episode counter so people can keep track of which episode they have watched and maybe a notes entry area. Maybe something closer to netflix like when it saves your exact spot on an episode.

So far, it seems a bit easier to manage than the Watchlist, and not requiring users to go to a separate edit page to reorganize items.

I can understand why people might want to keep the old lists around. Favorites seems like it would be an easy way to show off your favorite shows, and the watchlist for historical purposes (finished/dropped shows). I probably won't miss either, though.

I have to agree - I looked over everyone that I brought over to My Queue and only a few of them actually bring me to the video I have not watched, yet. If some of the issue brought in here got addressed, the My Queue could actually be really good, so far it just seems the question of "why" has only been asked, but with how many people have suggested it, you would think it'd be implemented like that, since this is for the users and the users left a suggestion of a feature they want which would add to the usability of the My Queue.

Mouse over the grey vertical lines at the beginning of the row, then you can drag and drop the rows as you wish.

Multiple comments have mentioned need the ability to track shows watched. Help us understand - doesn't Viewing History page serve that purpose? If you click on the View full history link on top of My Queue page, it takes you to the existing View History page. More feedback is appreciated.

The View History page is more of a short term thing, we want something more long term. For example, being able to see how many episodes of a series we've watched even after a period of time has passed. I also like being able to categorize the shows into which shows I've already finished or plan to watch in the future.

I'm also wondering if the episode # stored can be changed. If I'm watching a show and accidentally skip forward to another episode, I want to be able to manually fix it so if I "Play Next", it will play from the episode I want.

This is exactly how I feel on the topic too. I like having a list of shows that I've finished, regardless of whether they're favourites, and those that I plan to watch. For me it makes using Crunchyroll feel much more social (ie. I can share my finished list with others and look at their own). It also gives me a solid history of my activities on the website over the years.

Add these features in some capacity and I feel My Queue will be a very nice upgrade from what we're using now.

That's neat, though I will miss toying with the "My Watchlist" episode count heh.
