Sure! I can...it's called DENIAL!! I just COMPLETELY block stuff out. Someday I'll probably have some kinda mental breakdown though!! LOL!! But honestly, I don't think we are supposed2 4get completely cuz EVERY1 we come in2 contact w/has a part of making us who we r as a person! Time does make it easier though, it just SUCKS that time can move soo damn slow when we r in a hurry!!

Technically, you can't forget something completely, but you can forget about it so that it won't ever come up again unless provoked.

I don't know what happened to make you want to completely forget something, but my advice is to move on from it day by day. Distract yourself with other things.

No. If I'm actively seeking to not take notice of something then I'll remember and notice it more. Though if I do the opposite it becomes more faint and dismissable.
