I'm not sure if this topic has come up before... It doesnt look like it has! And i really think this would be an interesting topic to discuss about.... I honestly dont know if they exist or not but with all the talk that going around about them these days, they sound pretty intriguing... so just throw in ur ideas...

I'm too lazy to type what i know about them and I dont know much to begin with.. that's why i started this thread.. but for those of you'll who dont know what the Illuminati is... The Illuminati is said to be a secret society that is said to be behind world governments and many other big influential organizations like the UN and IMF and stuff and are seeking to create a new world order or something like that..

And please follow crunchyroll rules... Thankyou

The Illuminati was pretty much explained by Dan Brown in his book Angels and Demons. I really love that book. And I think this group still exist but in secrecy.

This may be far fetched, I think the Illuminati is simply a creation of Muslim Brotherhood extremists to make people in the west skeptical of their government and confuse them into distrust and conduct that creates disorder within the system.

There is a secret brotherhood or society leaving subtle little marks, symbols and signs everywhere in the hope of remaining secret so that its members may further their diabolical agenda. In secrecy, of course. Yeah right folks. Bullshit. There are no grand conspiracies, merely self-interest and power and those with power serve their interests, and they serve each other interests when their own so dictates. It's not a conspiracy, it's how our species works. Corruption, bribery and all that.

I have to agree with this. I stumbled across one of these conspiracy theory websites a week or so ago, and what struck me was the sheer scale of the conspiracy.

They were talking about, I think it was 300 people controlling everything in a conspiracy going back decades, if not centuries (apparently the Illuminati or whoever engineered both World Wars for their nefarious purposes!) IMHO there is no way that many people could keep a conspiracy going for even a few months before someone decided they weren't getting their fair share and somehow scuppered the whole thing.

The people who believe in these conspiracies seriously underestimate human incompetence and greed.

It would be much more convenient if you provided the definition, or the theory itself.

Anyway, I don't believe in the "Illuminati". It is humanly impossible to hide such a huge movement from the public.
All these "subliminal messages" are just false interpretations.

Furthermore, I don't see the point anyway. What do they get out of it? What reason?
So yeah, false.

I am going to disagree with you. Anything can be hidden from the public, if powerful enough people seat with them.

I do think groups like these exist, but we will probably never know.

You all need to watch "the music industry exposed" series on youtube. I guarantee that your opinions will change greatly, and all those who don't think that they exist will definitely change their minds.

The Ancient Order of the Illuminatis, as I understand it, was a secret social gathering of Over-rich Bavarians in the 18th century to talk about politics, get roaring drunk, commit indecent acts of sodomy upon each other, sometimes all three at once- basically an imitation of Thélème Abbey of Rabelais- before collapsing altogether after their members slowly regains their soberity and realised that they just wasted their time in a club that was pretty much a much more expensive version of what you can get in a pub next to a brothel. Some people still believe it exist today, and that every influential politician is part of it, though this is merely a result of an international conspiracy of statesmen, in a vain hope that the public will attribute their profound incompetence with over-much drunkeness and copulation.

Appearantly they were real, a secret society, but I don't think they're as vicious or evil as the media or videos describes them.
They even have a Wikipedia page~! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminati

When you look on the back of an American dollar and see Novus Ordo Seclorum, who do you think came up with that? I don't think it was the doing of America's forefathers. There are secret societies, such as Yale's Skull and Bones, from which several presidents have been chosen.

Really, I thought it was our forefather pilfering Virgil for all he was worth. The New Order of the Ages was America, who was to take the bridle from Britain, which we eventually did, when Merry Ol' Albion ruin herself by joining in the 'Let's kill each other'-fest that Europe holds every decade, and then, at the very last moment, when everything is destroyed, and the economic powers of Europe obliterated, we joined in and made ourselves the leader. I feel patriotic just typing that.

Now, about Skull and Bones, there is a rather simple explaination that doesn't involve a giant conspiracy. First, Yale is almost like America's Cambridge or Oxford, so almost all our political leaders come from one of the Ivy Leagues. Then, the richest of the students are invited to joined the Skull and Bones. These richest of rich are usually the ones who succeed politically, being the ones with a hella lot of money. Ergo, because we get lots of Ultra-rich presidents, we get lots of presidents who were members of the Skull and Bones. Makes sense? Of course it does.

But, there is an alternate hypothesis- Chairman Keel Lorenz is behind all this! He is the gris eminance behind every power in the world. And he is trying to lull us into a false sense of security before he creates his New Order of the Age!
