toonami was the best because it had fat aliens. not really. I liked watching showdown and totally spies on it. now cartoon network has mostly crap which include side kick and naked animals. however young justice is really good.

First thing i watched as a kid was Sailor Moon and Monster Rancher when i was about 6-7 years old, Then came Pokemon when i was 10 or so. Then i found out about Toonami and was addicted immediately . Became nearly a daily ritual to catch DBZ, Yu Yu Hakusho, Zoids, and Rourouni Kenshin. I never even knew what anime was by the time i was enthralled by it. ^^ After DBZ ended and Yu Yu Hakusho ended i wasnt watching it ritually anymore. I think One Peice and Naruto started airing, and i only caught them accasionally. Was Amazed when i caught Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke . I Had to be in Middle school before i knew exactly what Anime was. Now i try to keep up with some of the best shows over the years, and used to be an avid Inuyasha Fan.

Loved when Sci-fi was airing Gundam 00 and Basilisk-minus the Dubs xD. Anyway im very thankful that Toonami existed during my childhood. I cant watch cartoons of this era, except for spongebob or Avatar. Now while i tend to stay busy i Tivo Bleach,Durarara!,and Fullmetal Alchemist. Save me from the godawful Dubs on Bleach... In college and now i subscribe to Crunchyroll, cant beat watching Anime in 720p HD.

Ha! I remember when it was not only on Saturday evenings but EVERYDAY at about 3-5pm, early every morning AND at midnight before Adult Swim was even around. I was really little but I remember Moltar being the host before TOM and it was all about Thundercats and Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Then there was the time of Sailor Moon, DBZ, Techi Muyo, Cardcaptors, etc. The real glory days of it. Then came Naruto.... sigh. That's when it really started to die. Ah Toonami.

Toonami was the greatest when it aired on weekdays. Its what got me into anime as well. I think what killed toonami more than anything is that they couldn't get hardly any new good shows to replace their old ones. Not to mention they kind of stopped creating cool clips like this to promote themselves and their shows. http://youtu.be/uAqiNBAFNcA

So true. They really stopped caring about Toonami it seems and didn't get enough good shows for it. That's kinda why I mentioned Naruto because that was like the only show they had that is even decent.

Here in the U.K toonami became a channel and then it died and thus no more anime on T.V was ever shown again in the U.K.
