I don't think there is anything wrong with girls being into ecchi (female). Myself I don't care for it, but I can see why it would appeal to some. So go look at ecchi all day, f*** it nothing wrong with it  |

It looks human, therefore it's possible to get turned on. I heard some sciencey explanation out their somewhere; I think so long as someone doesn't try to replace real people with 2D people, it's not disgusting, may be just a kink?

I wiki'd it, and they pretty much describe ecchi as a slightly toned down version of hentai.
