probably Ritsu from k-on! She's just so expressive and has such a range of emotions. She kinda gives you so many options as to the context of a picture. Also Asuka from Evangelion for pretty much the same reasons.

Myself of course!
And it's not for any narcissistic reason. Avatars and self-portraits make wonderful impromptu characters for just about any context or art style from those simple in-class doodles, to elaborate studies of photo realism, or even works with mild amounts of surrealism.

It depends in what mood I am. Normally when I'm sad or angry I draw Fan Art it usually comes out better and when i'm not I work on my manga... Still in the writing proses
