Thank you for making Canada not part of North America (: - NOT

i know it takes time though~ But if i cost so much just to buy one volume - i am better off buying it on rightstuf and have the volume in hand
But, it's a good beginning. Hope to see Jmanga grow

Must be real nice FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE CREDIT CARDS *hint hint* get some more payment methods please like paypal or snail mail so I can support JManga

pay pal should pop up soon, hell I buy game from japan that accept pay pal through email

Even if they did add a paypal option I still wouldn't be able to support for a while until I get a job and get some money rolling in. xD

I really hope so cause companies should know by now that not everyone has credit card. Dx
.

Credit card and paypal is the most easiest and profitable way to get money. Any other way would be impractical. Companies don't care about who doesn't have a credit card, they care about getting paid by those who do.

I say no thanks. I'm already paying for a CR membership I'm hardly using. Horrible itnernet and poor service on my other internet connection leaves me little option to watch alot of anime. I can see my bandwidth jumping up just by reading afew pages.

I agree with you on the bandwidth part. Stupid Rogers. My internet bills are jumping up to 100$ even though i am not paying for the unlimited package due to over use of internet GB.

The selection looks very limited. $1.80 a chapter doesn't seem good to me either when I get the Anime for like $1.20.

I think its cheaper to buy the actual volume on Rightstuf or Amazon.

Although this will be good for series that are not here in the US or are Out of Print, but other than that meh.....Crunchyroll is better since they have a number of options on how to pay also more payment plans I'd rather pay for a 6 month or 12 month subscription rather than monthly so that way I don't have to worry about it for a while.

No, it's not monthly. You have to pay for credits and use those credits to purchase chapters. I was in the "beta" and we were given 1000 free credits that was blown in like 1 hour buying 4 chapters. 100 Credit = $1. Each chapter they sell costs around 140-260 credits depending on length.

Points? They're not doing it like Crunchyroll and Netflix? That's sad, here I thought JManga had potential. Oh well.

You know.. you can buy a gift card at Target or something with your cash and use that card for your paypal account :)

Target's too far, Car isn't running and don't have a paypal account.

Yes to the first question. It may be 140 - 260 points per volume and not chapter. There seems to be a few chapters in each volume.

Edit: Also, with bulk purchases there may be "bonus" credits added to your account. I'm not sure about that though.

Actually its around 900 per volume I just looked at one, but it has 9 chapters and its about how much you would pay for it if you bought it at a book store for $8.99. So how much do free members get as soon as they sign up?

Overall I don't see myself really using this site that much until they add a paypal option cause of right now all they had listed in both the FAQ and User Guide was credit card only.

You two should change to acanac. 500 dollars for cable internet for an ENTIRE year. Plus you get 1 year free phone service, can call anywhere in NORTH AMERICA, call display, call hold, and three-way. After receiving 700 dollars bill for Rogers, I changed automatically.

Website works for me. I love the way you can view the manga. It's real fast. Buying the entire volume seems much cheaper than buying chapters.

Yeah its pretty much $8.99 which is the amount your paying for the most part anyways if you buy it at a online/offline store.

For some reason its sorta slow for me....

I thought you were going to have an ad supported structure like Crunchy, oh well so much for that.

Also I may be reading this wrong but I am going to ask, do I have to pay the 10 dollar monthly fee then on top of it buy the manga volumes to read it.

Personally, I like the Viz Manga more. Viz can be used on Ipads etc, and Ipods, I like that a lot plus they have a lot of popular manga on Viz.

Target isn't the only place with gift cards ^^ but yeah I was just using it as an example :)
It's not hard to make a paypal account as long as you have a card, I've tried using a visa gift card for paypal and it works great~
