I just got to Pokemon season 9 and the whole Pokemon voice cast has been changed.

What other good animes are there to watch? I'm not very familiar with all the new ones.

Dropping an anime because of a change in voice cast? Was it really that bad...?

Try out Highschool of the Dead or maybe Durarara. Being you're female (Warning! making asumptions!) you may not like HOTD, but Durarara's worth looking into.

Unless you like zombies a lot hotd might not be a good choice. there's lots of fanservice for the boys.
durarara was pretty good though. would help to hear some preferences though to see what you're into.
Usagi drop is very cute I think, gintama is hilarious, fairy tale is a decent action anime

Well after watching 8 seasons, yes it is.
It feels really weird hearing those strange voices on familiar characters.

Thank you for the Anime suggestions everyone.

Well i would recomend skip beat! (do not judge the series by the first episode, I would have dropped it had i not watched until a few episodes in, i am very addicted to the manga now thanks to it), Kuroshitsuji (it's awesome! About a kid with ademon butler, but i recomend Subbed over dubbed),Fullmetal Alchemist(Very Funny and Sweet) La corda D'oro (About a girl who gets a magic violin (no doesnt do any of the stereotypical save the world stuff) and enters a music competition, oh and she knows almost nothing about violins) and Durarara (I have no clue how to explain it, its very interesting, and if you like an anime called Lain you would definitely love this, it's kinda like that minus all the weird computer crap and the main character I'm still not sure of (not very far into it yet sorry) but the anime has this strange interesting feeling of it that just... i dont know makes you curious i guess. Oh and the characters are much more interesting, considering the main character of lain was very plain.)

You've been watching it for eight years, and now you're just dropping it? Of course it's going to sound weird at first after eight years, but to drop something you've liked for a long time's kind of stupid. And for some recommendations, I don't know your tastes, so I'm just naming what I like.

Tiger & Bunny- It's kind of hard to describe it without spoilers, but basically it's about heroes known as NEXT who appear on a reality show called Hero TV. The characters are well rounded and really likable, and the plot's pretty unique and well thought out. At the very least, the animation's really modern and the character designs are awesome. It's light hearted at first, but gets kinda fucked up around episode 16.

Durarara!!- I'd laud it in a similar way I lauded T&B; characters have real personalities and the plot unfolds a dark side. It revolves around many characters, but the main leads are Ryuugamine Mikado, a boy who leaves his hometown in search of a better life, and Celty Sturlson, a Dullahan (headless fairy) who left her country to find her head. Virtually every character has their own interesting story, so there's never a boring episode.

xxxholic- A boy named Watanuki who has the undesired power to see spirits is summoned to a shop that grants wishes. He meets a witch named Yuuko, who grants his wish to never see the spirits again, but now he's in debt and has to work for her. It's better than it sounds. It starts out episodic, but the plot gets really good at the end (I don't want to reveal too much) It talks a lot about Japanese mythology, and it's really entertaining.

Hayate no Gotoku- Random fight scenes, everyday. It's hilarious, too.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei- Really weird.... But also hilarious.

Yakitate! Japan- It's about bread. It talks of extreme ways to make bread, different kinds of bread, how bread it made, the origins of bread, and one episode even taught you how to make bread with a rice cooker. There's about 4 arcs, and no episode fails to surprise you. It's really exciting and a fun watch! It's better than it sounds....

I've seen La corda D'oro, it was pretty good. :)

I've started to watch Durarara, it's enjoyable so far.

If you enjoyed Durarara!!! then I recommend Baccano! which was it's predecessor, and rated even higher than Durarara!!!
Just try and finish the entire show; most people have no idea what's going on and drop out of the anime after a few episodes, but if you finish it, I guarantee that you will not only understand everything, but enjoy it immensely.

The problem with Baccano is that it skips back and forth in time and shows the same scene from the point of view of different characters.

the secret is to recognise this 'pulp fiction' style of story telling and roll with it...
