Just finished watching Durarara, talk about no life.
It's pretty good.

If you enjoyed Durarara!!! then I recommend Baccano! which was it's predecessor, and rated even higher than Durarara!!!
Just try and finish the entire show; most people have no idea what's going on and drop out of the anime after a few episodes, but if you finish it, I guarantee that you will not only understand everything, but enjoy it immensely.

Alright, Baccano it is.
It better be as good as you say it is. :P

No lies in his post. Once you've seen Baccano!, you'll know how basic Durarara!! is.

The problem with Baccano is that it skips back and forth in time and shows the same scene from the point of view of different characters.

the secret is to recognise this 'pulp fiction' style of story telling and roll with it...

Well, the guy just watched Durarara!!! so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Though the difference is that Durarara!!! was very concise and clear about it, while Baccano! just leaves your mind retching if you try and fit it all in chronological order.
The first time I watched it, I thought that when they displayed the year, like 1931, they were just trolling me like Un Chien Andalou. That was one of the worst extrapolations my mind had ever made.

could be worse. you could be as dumb as that 'master thief' and his... 'girlfriend?'

then you wouldn't even know the story was about you.

I agree with Baccano!. It's short but sweet. Plus it is very re-watchable. I pick up on new things each time I watch it.

I would also try One Piece or FMA: Brotherhood if I were you. They are kind of similar to both Naruto and Pokemon on a fundamental level. Though One Piece is very long.

I like Pokemon. :P
I would still be watching had they not changed the voice cast.

That's one of my pet peeves.
I can never cope with new voices on the faces of familiar characters.
