School starts on the 30th for me, and I'm going to be a sophomore in high school.
I am not eager for it at all, not to mention that I have three essays due on the first day of my pre-AP English class.
I have one more to finish and I'm dying. ): It's so overrated to say this, but summer went by waaay too fast!

Well, I started 3 days ago. Since I'm a freshmen in a small charter school filled with upperclassmen, they all ignore me. But I'm okay with it. Just sick of every dude around me screaming 'bro' and everybody using 'gay' as an insult to the point of where I want to rip my hair out. But I've gotten a hella lot of work done in 3 days thanks to being surrounded by people who don't want to talk to me. I miss my old middle school friends so badly right now...... even if middle school was a hellhole for me. I still talk to my best guy friend through email and text and phone all the time. But I miss actually talking to him so much. I was part of this whole anime nerd group in middle school. I at least felt sheltered to be with my friends. Now that I'm alone, it's like being naked on a public street... nobody can shield you from anything

I'm really sorry to hear that you haven't been adjusting too well with your high school life I guess the only advice I can give is to try and find out if your school has an Anime Club, or any other clubs that centers around your interests or hobbies, available for you to join. You might find out about your school's extra-curricular clubs through your school's website, or you could ask one of the teachers on how to find some clubs at your school to join....they might be able to point you to the right direction to where you can get more information on your school's clubs.

I sincerely hope that everything will work out for you!

Yeah, it's that time of the year... but I have graduated college and I have a job, so it doesn't really affect me.

Still, to see the college students getting back into gear brings back good memories. Personally, I loved college; probably the best years of my life. It was a challenge, but I worked hard and did well. I had a lot of great classes, professors, and friends. There were fun events, interesting convocations, and so much more held at my college. I really miss the time that I spent there.

For those who are just beginning college, I wish you all the best of luck.

I'm going back in September :P
I'm actually very excited, since two of my best friends and I have had little interaction over the summer.
Plus a fresh clean slate on anything is a good thing to me :D
Besides, last year all I did was fool around and get high. (Although Academically, I did above average)
This year, I aim to be serious, so I have a higher chance of getting into my drean school

Starting my first year of college after this weekend, so yeah...English 101...not looking forward to that...I just HAD to score high on the entry exam =\ Oh well, at least I get to go to school whenever I want, taking classes starting from 6 PM, and my part-time job starts at 12 PM, so I don't have to get up in the morning all the time, that's a huge start.

Honestly I welcome school. The routine is nice, you know what you need to do each day and it doesn't leave you laying around trying to think of something to do. My school is in the winter when the snow comes so that makes walking or whatever more enjoyable for me. Winter is so much fun. And since this is my last year of high school I get to start planning on a career and all of that fun junk.

Heh, if I finish my two books in time, then I could careless and go to school. I don't know why people around me are so excited to go back to school though- guess I am just a pooper.
