As for my greatest failure, I burnt some tuna belly on the grill. I totally forgot about it and given a few more minutes, I could've used it to fuel the grill.

That is truly a tragedy of epic proportions.

I LOVE to cook, my best dish is Tuscan chicken, also it being my favourite. My worst mishap in the kitchen was setting some pancakes on fire by accident.

My guarantee success at any dinner would be my green bean casserole, everyone seems to love every time.

My favorite thing to cook would have to be caramelized frog legs.

My greatest creation was a sandwich I invented when I came home from a party. It has toasted potato bread, a sauce made from over 7 ingredients, including mayo, hoisen sauce and honey, black forest smoked turkey, gouda cheese, spaghetti noodles(no sauce), a sunny-side up egg, crispy strips of bacon and romaine lettuce.

It's not for everyone, I know. But I don't care, because I love it.

It goes great with a bit of grilled haloumi, topped with a slice of tomato and a leaf of basil.

I love to cook myself. If I have time to make breakfast, I love making some kind of veggie (mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, etc) scrambled eggs with cheese. Or a giant veggie egg omelet w/cheese. ^__^
I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but my favorite dish that I've made was a cuban one called Picadillo. Although instead of beef, I like to use drained tuna and add some Edmundo Vino Seco Cooking Wine: http://latinfood.about.com/od/cuba/r/beefpicadillo.htm
Cuban cooking is really awesome to say the least.

Lol, that's hilarious. Usually, whenever I make pancakes, I do a horrible job with the first 1-3 pancakes, and then after that, they usually turn out ok for me. I feel like I relearn how to make them every time I make them, lol.

What are you talking about? Why cook when you can just eat everything raw? Best way of being a true person.

Because human bodies have adapted in such a way that eating some foods uncooked will make us sick.

I love baking and cooking. Probably the worst thing to happen is hot oil splash on my hand. Right now my new favorite thing to make is grilled cheese using Dave's Killer Blues Bread, just google it if you don't know what that is, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, and Provolone cheese. It is just so great tasting. I would love to cook more, but I don't have all the necessary equipment to make the food I want.

I love to cook. Mostly breakfasts. My favorite thing to make is French Toast. Add some vanilla to it, a little bit of cinnamon, and it's perfect! Worst time cooking...probably when I was making brownies and as I was putting them in the oven, the whole tray just fell and batter spilled all over the inside of the stove. Sigh. What a hassle to clean...

I really enjoy to cook. It is like I am doing mad science that is acceptable, my favorite experiment was making spiced peach pie. It was loaded with fresh peaches, cayenne and black pepper. Another of my favorite experiments was when I made rose petal ice cream.

Most complicated thing? Ummm....home made tofu and pasteles....very labor intensive, and hard to find ingredients (that was a feat itself) I must have been insane.

Biggest disaster was the first time I learned to cook, I tried to make french fries....I totally forgot about displacement, and the oil hit the gas burner and...WOOSH! kitchen fire in home ec. Everyone panicked, but I quickly reached the controls and turned off the burner. It was funny and embarrassing.

I love cooking. My father ran a restaurant in the 80s So I grew up cooking. I myself do not work in the industry but can cook almost anything. My specialties are American southern/Southwestern, Russian and German those I learned due to my heritage. My Borscht cannot be beat. Recently I have expanded into Asian cuisine as I returned to University to study Japanese. I''d say my finest work though is when I BBQ. I do it right I grind my own dry rub from fresh spices. I use 2-3 different types of wood during the smoking process and I cook it for depending on the size of butt or brisket 10-18 hours. Then when it's done I cover it in one of several homemade BBQ sauces.

As for my worst moment in cooking. As a Professional Home Chef I have lots of high grade cooking tools. Among them are a set of Shun kitchen knives. Look them up they are forge folded just like a katana. Katanas are sharp, Shun knives are sharp. If you angle your hand wrong when Frenching an onion the tip of your thumb slides rather nicely into the path of those nice sharp knives. Well after that I always remembered to keep my thumb tucked back. Oh and fun fact 1/4 into your thumb there is a magic switch that if hit makes you faint and hit your head on the counter. You have to remember to cut through part of the nail as well or I can't guarantee it will work.

I'm starting to just scratch the surface of cooking. It's quite fun to rid boredom. I was browsing some chef Gordon reciepes and this is what I made. Forgot what he called the chicken though. =p My bad. I don't know how to hide images into that spolier thing.
