What are your opinions on "gay" people?
Posted 8/23/11
I certainly wouldn't call a gay person confused, in fact I'm pretty sure they know what they want. Just because its different from the norm there isn't any need to fear it. And don't worry its not a disease that can be caught so I'm pretty sure the world is safe from a potential gay epidemic that will have us face extinction. Plus we can always count on the bi's or there is always artificial insemination. heheh

I sort of don't believe you can be in love "that way" with the opposite sex. I just think of this as a form of confusion and such... I mean, someone could feel like a brother or sister to you, but same sex love just doesn't make any sense to me. I guess it doesn't bother me when a guy or girl is right there and tells me "I'm gay" but when I see them holding hands and stuff, it makes me sick.

Lol omg, I love how you say this and then you ask for no hate.

There is no confusion, you can't help who you love.
It's the same way that some women are in love with feminine looking guys or some are in love with midgets.
Everyone has their taste and for some people, it's the same gender.

I really don't care whether a person is into the same sex or not. Even if I was against it, it doesn't concern me, so I have no right to complain about it.

Gay is fine... like I don't care whether they prefer the to swing that way or what is none of my business

Anyway, if they're happy that way who am I to interfere or to judge...???

Gay people are actually more normal than transsexual people just that they prefer the same gender over the opposite gender

Every gay person I've ever met has been extremely nice to me. I also have someone in my extended family that is gay. I don't think feeling attracted to someone can be wrong, so I have no problem with it. They never chose to feel that way towards someone and I find it stupid that the main argument against their life style is that they choose to be that way. Certainly so, but choosing to act on feelings is different than choosing to have those feelings.

But, even though I don't agree with gay relationships, I would love to have a gay friend

Good luck with that.

There is nothing wrong with gay people, they have every right to be together and get married. Its got nothing to do with us. Also, you are 15. You probably don't even know what you are yet to be honest lol.

*Bangs my head on a table for thinking this perhaps was a rather serious thread*
Anyways...
I sort of don't believe you can be in love "that way" with the opposite sex
...this statement of yours really forced me to post here. Why? It's 'cause you should believe it when I say I can't even imagine being attracted to men [I don't hate you, though. I'm doing this 'cause I want to help you get this off of your head.]
I'm so gay and I'd state that it's pretty much just a person falling in love with another. It's just in your case, you like a being from the opposite sex. I really hope my post would help your predicament to vanish 'cause my explanation isn't so hard to understand now, is it?
Hahah, I'm so retarded.

I love gay people. I happen to have plenty of gay friends. It doesn't affect me whatsoever. Its like having a best friend who shares different interests. If they happen to be attracted to the same sex, so be it. Minor differences shouldn't bring about controversy, only respective acceptance.

What about gay people? They're also human. if God doesn't like it, then y create those feelings.

As for me, I like who ever I want. I just don't like being categorized.

makes no difference to me, i've had plenty of gay, straight & bi friends... we're all the same as a whole, if you think about it...

i'm not being cliché, either... think about what you picture a gay person to be and realize that you're most likely thinking of stereotypical things... every type of person, every ethnicity & religion have stereotypes... now think of yourself, what stereotype(s) would you fit into as someone of your type, ethnicity and/or religion?

do you fit that stereotype? in some aspects? all? maybe none at all? the same applies to every other person out there... some will fit a stereotype, others won't... some heavily, others very few...

we are all the same as a whole... why judge somebody unless you want to be judged yourself?

then again, you're completely and rightfully entitled to your beliefs... when those beliefs start to impose on those who don't want to be imposed upon is what bothers me...

I know right! I think I'm going to go over and fall on it for a bit. It's got that fuzzy feel that makes it so you just fall asleep on top of the covers.
