What are your opinions on "gay" people?
Posted 8/25/11
It doesn't matter to me. I don't care if other people are gay, I just choose not to be. It's their choice, not mine. They can do whatever they want.

They're usually super nice.

And I most certainly do not believe that some people live their whole lives in 'confusion'.
Basically I just consider them people who have different sexual preferences. Not any of my business.

Anyways, I feel bad for any gay friends you have. Do they know your stance on their sexual preference? I'm surprised that they're still your friends if they do, especially if you feel disgust at them simply holding hands or cuddling. Hell, some straight people hold hands. I could understand your disgust if they were making out in public or something, I feel like anyone who does that should get a room instead.

Gay also refers to homosexuality, do you have a problem with homosexuals?

I know I might get beat up for this (please don't kick me off of Crunchyroll!!), but I sort of don't believe you can be in love "that way" with the opposite sex. I just think of this as a form of confusion and such... I mean, someone could feel like a brother or sister to you, but same sex love just doesn't make any sense to me. I guess it doesn't bother me when a guy or girl is right there and tells me "I'm gay" but when I see them holding hands and stuff, it makes me sick. So.... don't cuss or anything if you agree with me, and if you want to, try to turn my opinion around I mean, yes love is an emotion that runs our lives, but in the end, it's just a state of mind. Humans are just like any other animals; they reproduce to keep going. But, even though I don't agree with gay relationships, I would love to have a gay friend if you're not easily offended!

LOL I'm sorry. I had to laugh at that.

It's ok.... I agree with your other post before too lol It's just honestly, I have an opinion, but it's not quite there... you know?

That's actually happened to me a couple of times... it's awkward, but it ends up as the "just friends" thing lol

I like that the last comments I've seen haven't bashed me... and some are pretty funny lol Thanks for the responses... this topic is pretty popular! :O And yes, I still don't have a "I'm ok with it" or "not okay with it" opinion yet... this is one of the most toughest subjects to side on! (thinking face...)

There's nothing wrong with them, they're people. Love is love no matter where you find it. But I'm still not a fan of yaoi or yuri, ( I SWEAR, I'm not homophobic just because I dislike those genres ). I have gay friends, they're such nice people! I hate people using 'gay' as an insult word, and since I just entered high school, people do it to the point that I want to rip their heads off, that's how much they say 'gay', it's always, gay this, gay that. Have respect for homosexuals, people!

I think that homosexuality is a romantic or sexual attraction between members of the same sex.
so for instance; a man that falls in love with a woman, can also fall in love with another man.

It could also be that homosexuals function different than we do, their brains could think that they're for instance a man when they're a woman,
which makes them be attracted to other woman.

Ofcourse i don't mean that that being a homosexual is a disease or a deviation, the last part is just a personal theory ^_^

Though i understand how you feel when you say that you feel uncomfortable when they're like kissing and stuff.

Being a homosexual used to be considered a psychological disorder like gender identity disorder. I'm just putting that out there.

I think being gay is caused by some sort of hormonal imbalance. I have no proof, though. I'm sure somewhere in the future they will figure out how to change your preference with hormone therapy if you don't like being gay.

Just to calm this down a bit when people say "Oh thats so gay!" They really mean stupid. not gay gay..if you catch my drift They just use it as a insult of some kind. It has nothing to do with a "Gay person" or anything like that most of the time. I should know my friends use that term but they never used it to disrespect gays
