I'd say Fairy Tail but they don't have all the episodes so I have to go with Yuru Yuri because its really funny or Shugo Chara

check out beelzebub its funny in my opinion but kinda more of a shonen type show i guess another good one is gosick if you like mystery/tragedy anime... but i also watch naruto, lucky star was great, hanasaku iroha is another "cute" one. oh and if you like yuri check out sasameki koto... its not hardcore or anything like that and its kind of a cute show (although i wish it had more episodes )

Eureka Seven, Gankutusou, Gosick, Durarara, Natsume and I guess Naruto if you want something super popular.

Best Student Council would be a good recommendation for an anime lover or for someone who just started to get into anime.

Lots of likable characters, very funny, decent storyline.

Gintama can be liked by any anime fan because it makes fun of all the genres, but has some good action and story lines of its own.

Natsume is mellow, but has a male lead which makes it not so much of a girly anime. There isn't any romance messing up the plot, which makes it a lot more enjoyable than most mellowdramatic shows where it's always about some lame girl trying to find a perfect boyfriend (or visa versa) and none of that 'complicated' love interests later on like with Fruits Basket.

Aoi No Exor is great for the action and comedy. I really like the art style and story so far.

I wouldn't recommend No. 6 because of the shounen-ai and definitely not any yaoi/boy love series, because not everyone is into those. Not that they aren't any good, as I really like No. 6, but you have to find a group willing not to freak out over the bromance lol

I got a friend of mine to watch Gravitation because he liked the music and slightly overlooked the gayness because he thought the series was funny on it's own. We still sing around the songs from it.

Based on the running comments in No. 6, not everyone is that mature and likes to make a big deal over anything lol Even though Sasuke and Naruto kissed a good few times, it was made in a comedy so that's okay? *shrugs* To each their own.

I'm going to watch No. 6 once I get further in the many series I'm already currently watching, but I heard the shounen-ai was just "hinted" at. So perhaps No. 6 can be recommended to a wider audience. Or something.
