I was wondering if anyone noticed that the cruise commercials being played recently are really targeting the correct people. O.o

I mean, if I can't pay 6 dollars a month for an anime membership right now, how would I be able to pay for a thousand dollar plus cruise vacation? (alas, the abysmal fate of a college student before student loans are released)

Haha

It's all about marketing..... if they get you to remember the commercial then it's still a plus to them since you can refer ppl to a cruise or something... Like for instance if your friends were talking about a cruises, you can unknowingly blurt out the cruise commercial you saw b4. Then your friends might check it out, and therefore it could lead to potential profit $$$

Hmm... that sounds more logical than my first idea.

My first idea was that they air the commercials on websites where parents actually pay for anime for their kids... but the fact that having a paid membership means you don't even see those commercials. ^_^

I guess it's sort of like some of those restaurant commercials. They talk about some amazing deal or whatever that makes you consider going there next time your interested in eating out. But guess what the problem is, you don't have one of those restaurants in your town. In marketing it's pretty much about showing your product/business to as many people as possible.

I think it's funny that I get Lowe's ads. It'll be quite a while before I have my own house and need to improve/repair it.

the Ads you see are based on the sites that you visit most often on that particular computer
