Nope. I go for quality of the story. If the writing blows, then it doesn't matter how good-looking the characters might be, I'll lose interest. I've followed a lot of manga with iffy/sketchy/poor artwork that had an excellently told tale for many, many books, but I've quickly dumped many more with good art (usually just on the cover), but zip for a story told.

I go for the story line. Normally, I go by the saying "you can't judge a book (manga) by it's cover". The cover might look great but sometimes the story is just not up to par.

I will shamelessly say, yes I do. I don't want to read a manga full of ugly characters that will make me want to gouge my eyeballs out. Shallow, I know. But that's how it is.

Sometimes but not all the time. I normally attracted to a really good title, then the drawings, and finally the story and if the guys are not that good- looking I still buy it because the storyline is really good. And if the storyline is really good then Iooks of a guy doesn't matter.

Yeah but I'll mostly buy them for their artstyle.

Not really, the story is more important. But I admid that I don't wanna read a manga with a good storyline if drawings are ugly

Usually, but if the characters are good-looking but the plot is ..... .., then I would stop reading it too
Most of the time, i would look at the cover first, first impression, so i guess...
