I wish anonymous would just get killed off. We're in a dystopian world, no amount of security breaching for the lulz is going to change that. And as an after thought, they're a bunch of liars. Doing to help? If that was the case, they'd just hack. Not dump information onto torrents.

Limitations, know them. Don't test them. You make life miserable for the rest of us. As morbid as it is, its the truth. Companies don't care, websites don't care, they just want money. Part of capitalism, accept it and do something actually significant.

I hate facebook, but I do have an account (I made it so I could take tests and quizzes.) and I doubt what with their actual goals, they'll be indiscriminate.

I just wish they'd die. I'm not one for wishing death on anything, but they deserve it. Just... seriously. Stop fucking with people. You have beef with companies? Take it up with them, and don't involve us asswipes.

Without trying to make them seem epic, you cannot kill Anonymous. It is not a person or group, it is a movement with no leader. An idea. As long as there are people who can hack, "anonymous" will continue it's pointless operations, because the people who support it's cause and the people who do the hacking are all considered Anonymous. I preferred it back when they purely did it for the lulz, and they could do fun things without hacking...such as calling up gamestop and spamming them with battletoads, lmao.

Now they're all serious and shit, and all defeat the government! Freedom, woo! Killuminati! etc. Basically, they won't get anywhere.

No, I know that. I just hate it when they flaunt around being... 'driven' by a cause they don't even take seriously. Revolutionist? no, just anarchist. Disturbing the natural order, nothing to show for but a lot of people hoping for tally marks. They should stick to trolling and not ideology. Their 'ultimate' trolling defeats the purpose of everything they apparently stood for. If they ever stood for anything besides showing their a conglomerate of people that their they're cool.

I wouldn't mind them if they were actually trying to make a change. You know how much a group of hacker has? A fuck ton. but they make hit-and-run attacks, playing pussy and seeing how far they can get. Facebook though? It's a step in the right direction if they were actually serious, but they aren't. They've never been serious. They want to be rebellious because they think its kewl 2 be a trollin'.

No, it doesn't Trolling nowadays just make you a jerk. Witty? Cunning? funny? No, just a jerk. And I bet it takes alot of effort to post some meme that is everywhere. No, trolls are just wannabe cyber bullies and cyber terrorists. Good for fucking them. Makes you really mature, true story.

I could go on about trolls, anonymous, and how pussy they are. I could make a list of users on this site that could actually benefit from not being 'trolls', or 'meme savvy'. Trolls are just internet trending, and apparently they're kewl to pretend to be.

Finally, someone who shares my opinion on modern trolling.

I am probably one of the oldest trolls that remains from anon or 4chan or what ever the hell you want to call it. i have talked to you countless times about this before and there are good things anon have done before such as finding and turning in a child molesters , animal abusers, taking down the westboro baptist church "god hates f***.com" site etc through hacking ip tracing but now what they used to stand for is like most things is just broken. If face book really does go down i will get a cheap laugh out of it but in reality this is the final blow for them if they choose to do so. Anon or trolling used to mean something, it used to be something for fun or just a harmless joke but now it's just out of hand and I can't do a thing about it. Heh... Maybe that's my sin I need to make up for... sorry for going off topic everyone this pic sums my feelings

Anon: Bunch of lies. I'll believe it when I see it. And didn't they get caught or something?

Anon isn't going to do anything. Chill out. You act like Facebook is your life

If they do hack the site, I hope no one, including me and my friends don't get anything stolen.

Implying you can't just move to another site...

Yep... They are probably just going to do another LOC strike on it. I remember seeing some of their talk about directing AnonOps at FB about a month ago. Doesn't surprise me because FB is really the opposite of the Anonymous networks out there, with all the information FB sells.

Who's "You" ?

On a related note. I love how Anonymous as an entity is pretty much a modern "Laughing Man" from Ghost in the shell.

I've been on AnonOps a few times, most notably during the WikiLeaks scandal. I have to say, the hacktivism going on is of a different nature from how most people perceive Anonymous to be. They are driven. Yes some do it for great lols, but a good amount of them are attempting to facilitate an internet revolution against future oppression through media spin, and government.

I don't think the internet will ever do widespread perception of Anonymous justice because everybody has it hardwired in them that the internet is not a serious place. While true in a sense, and Anonymous loves to make fun of people being serious on the internet. There are most definitely large issues that cycle through the internet.

Just look at how social media played a role in bringing people together during the Egyptian revolution. The internet so key to the movement that the government broke the law and took the peoples public connection away.

You might be one of the oldest, but you're surely not the most faithful to the rules of the internet.

that rule speaks to board that will not be mentioned from @chan , the site it's self can due in part that it's been publicly announced in the news "time magazine 2008" man of the year moot, heh.. but once you become so damn cynical like me you tend not to give a damn
