Yes I do, not because I want people to think that I'm smart, but because typing properly is respectful to the people who have to read it. Not to mention that I'm not into the whole trendy internet tween-speak thing.

I try my best but my spelling is terrible, thank god for spell checkers!

Is manner an option?

Proper manners are a switch. Anybody can turn it off, but it takes a special somebody to turn it on...Especially when they don't want to. That's also the key to healthy relationships.

I try my best to, but of course I make grammatical mistakes anyway

Yes , I do . Something I tend to do is add a space before a punctuation , and spelling , that's something I'm always aware of , this happens with phone numbers too , when I have someone's number , I have to check if I got the number right .

I usually do not, but if there are glaring errors in a post I occasionally get annoyed.

No. I don't. I write properly without even thinking about it. English is not my native language so I make mistakes every now and then though.I think bad grammar looks horrible and stupid. And anyway, isn't it easier to write how you actually learned to do it, in other words, correctly?
