gintama is one of my favorites the randomness, and how they can be joking around one minute then be serious the next is what keeps me watching, also because i like to see when katsura shows up cause hes always ridiculous

the wacky parts, the serious parts, the characters , the seiyuu behind the characters.the parodys,the unconventional,
still makes me want to watch more...

Its a nice casual series and its funny most of the time. You can also put it off and then pick it back up and not have to worry too much about the remembering the main story line, because there isn't really one, just mini arc's here and there.

It combines everything I like!
the disregard for the 4th wall, the action when the situation calls for it, the fact that they're not receiving power-ups on every corner to be able to beat the new enemy, the humor, the charakters and the designs,...
I never found anything that could compare with Gintama in greatness!
