When I first started watching anime, yeah I was quick to judge. Now I'm pretty sure what is and is not going to suck.

Heck, my favorite anime is Kemonozume. Wost. Grahical Animation. Ever. Still an awesome story.

Oh and I knew Durarara was going to be like that. Same people who made Baccano! (there's even characters from Baccano in Durarara in the background)

Yep. I've even judged Naruto and didn't go on watching it. tho a reason for it is because I wanna finish Bleach first. Maybe I'd watch it after that.

indeed

Full Metal Panic

at first, i wasn't so sure, i didnt see what my friend saw in it, but after i gave it another watch and saw it through to the end, i looked upon it more kindly

Samurai Champloo

during a few episodes of the first half i was on a fence, but slowly it grew on me, and by the second half i was sold

Sword Art Online

at first i was VERY skeptical, the first 2 episodes for me were hit and miss, but the third episode marked the point were i started to change my mind, finally, at the fourth episode, were SAO had found solid ground , i was sold, so glad i gave it a chance

Yeah, I got bored with first few episodes of Gurren Lagann. But a week later I continued the series and it was freaking awesome!!!!

Needless. Not even kidding here.
Didn't catch me right away but as soon Setsuna and co were introduced, BAM! I was in love with the show.

Also;
Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

I'd heard about it lot and being praised quite a bit. I decided to check it out but it didn't catch me right away. Stopped watching it and revisited it last year again.

Best. Decision. Ever.

I won't lie, I do judge some anime shows but I gave them all a chance (well the ones that catch my eye)! I watch a couple of episodes (usually 4 episodes) and if it doesn't interest me then I stop watching it or at times, I'll watch it when I have nothing else to watch

I have. The first time I watched Gintama, I wondered what in the world am i watching... O_O But two weeks later I re-watched it and now I'm up to episode 151 or 152. xD I'll re-watch Hitman reborn one day to give it another shot and see if I might like it more the second time around.

Yes, one of the ones I judge too quickly was Kuroko no basket, I only watched the first 3 episodes and dropped it. After hearing so many things about the anime I decided to give it another try so I went ahead and did and ended up loving the series now. Now I feel like I can't wait for the most recent episode to come out.

For me the only thing was Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Oh boy, was I wrong. Looks can be deceiving. You can not judge Madoka until you have finished the third episode. I'm pretty sure plenty of people are in the same boat as me. Honestly, great show. Just amazing. I should probably stop before I go into a whole discussion about Madoka but............. just watch it.

Ok back on topic. Well to me, an anime needs to give people a great first impression. That first episode is what draws most people in and if that first episode doesn't then people aren't going to get in to to the rest of the series that easily. Even if the show itself is spectacular. I want to make this clear though. I do not think you should judge an anime or any show in particular for a unappealing beginning. It just that most people I believe judge on the first episode.

If it looks bad, looks childish, drawn bad with too big eyes, then i'm very judgemental when it comes to Anime.
But that's just me

I do this all the time. I think I'm not going to like it, but after watching a few episodes I find myself really enjoying it.
Full Metal Panic, Gintama, Myself;Yourself, Persona 4: The Animation just to name a few.

Yep.

I tend to unfairly judge anime based off their promotional posters or source material. For example, I knew about Kanon for a long time, but I never gave it the time of day. One reason is that when I saw the first picture that came up for Kanon on Wikipedia, I thought, "What kind of animation is this?!" Second, not too long ago, I had the misconception that all anime based off adult visual novels were... icky. But, because of my experience with Clannad and a reviewer (Arkada), I gave Kanon a chance. It was a great anime.

So, yeah.
