I gave up on Sora no Woto midway through the first episode. Then I read a review at Okazu, and I gave it another chance, and by episode three I was hooked.

No matter how I tell myself not to judge a show too quickly, it still happens. Case in point: "Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo". A show that should just be silly and fun proves itself to be more than you expect. It just goes to show that if character development is done well, then you can create a thoughtful, moving story even in a show that initially presents itself as anything but.

I did that with air gear, i didn't enjoy the first couple episodes so it took me about a month or so to start watching it again and I'm about to finish it up today actually and now i really like it :3

I judge an anime by their cover all the time. For example: inu x buko secret service, from the cover I thought it was going to be awful and just a fighting anime, I WAS SOO WRONG. Its is a romantico anime and also some fighting but not a whole lot. I love it. But yes I still judge an anime by their picture all the time.

hmm probaly Hitman Reborn for me. i know ppl said the first few episodes bad but i stuck with it and it became one of my favs. I WISH THEY WOULD CONTINUE URRRRRRGHHH

I watched Key's other works and I liked them but I found this really annoying for some reason.. I guess I will try 2 more episodes

I would have to say that I judged Clannad too quickly. I didn't enjoy being inundated with so many incredibly similar looking female heroines from the start, and I really hated the first major story arc with Fuku. It took about 9 episodes before I was like "oh this actually is pretty good." Then of course by the end of After Story I had a pretty epic crygasm :P

Yes, but only when an anime is new so I have to wait for the next episode. For example, I found the first 3 episodes of Clannad to be be really boring, but it instantly became one of my all time favorites. If I was watching the series on a weekly basis, I might have not made it past episode 4 and would have missed out on a truly amazing anime. This is whats happening to me now with Little Busters. I probably wont watch it anymore and will just wait for the series to finish then go back and watch it to see if it's any good.

Puella Magi Madoka Magika watched the first 5 minutes gave up and decided after a year plus to go back see what the reviews were talking about and ended up liking it myself and watched every episode non stop.
