A second season is unlikely, as disc sales in Japan were apparently quite low.
The removal has nothing to do with lack of popularity, however. The series is from Kadokawa, which means it was always subject to removal after the simulcast ended, and it has already been licensed by Funimation.

wouldnt call this a marathon compared to me watching over 60 episodes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 3 best days of my life where i can eat chips and watch

in all the time and through the Two accounts i have had here, i have wanted to watch this anime in good quality more than anything, and due to the lovely rules of lawyers and publication licensing, i have never been able to watch it here in Crunchyroll. now for what ever reason it is being "canned" and taken offline. this is fantastic, and freaking anime that i will never get to watch
i love living in Australia.
P.s. i actually got half way through a crappy fan-sub, and i love the series almost as much as i love Hellsing. i hope that the powers that be will bring it back and bring its 2nd season with it
