A second season is unlikely, due to the poor DVD/BD sales in Japan.

That said, if there were another series, CR would very likely have it. For example, although Funimation had already licensed Sora no Otoshimono when Sora no Otoshimono: Forte came out, CR still had the simulcast (although in that case, Funimation did as well). Although Funimation had already licensed Strike Witches, CR still had the simulcast of Strike Witches 2. In both cases, the key was that CR had the simulcast of the original series. In both cases the second series, was later removed, as it was licensed by Funimation, just as with Deadman Wonderland.

The only complication going forward is Kadokawa's relationship with NicoNico.com. This season, this has resulted in that site being given exclusivity for the first week. That could have further consequences in the future for series Kadokawa handles (which would no doubt include any Deadman Wonderland sequel series).

]CABarrett Pure ignorance, please understand when I say "big earthquake" I mean the one that occurred in east Japan, not a fictional earthquake. I was speaking along the terms of it having gore and depictions of blood which, if you know anything about Japanese culture, is pushing the bounds of what they consider political correctness... Really is common sense though, would YOU want to be hit with dozens of depictions of people being blown up a few weeks after 9/11 occurred? Get real guy...

??? thats what i said its a sore topic, and all i was saying it was sore topic of that earthquake they had and the earthquake in the story both took place in japan. ergo not to many people would want to relive the horros by reading something that was about such a terible event.

Surely you don't mean watching it on one of those bootleg leech streaming sites that illegally upload bootlegs to places like Veoh, MySpace or Megavideo and then leech of those free streams. The video quality of the free streaming services that they leech off of suck.

People who want to watch Stein's Gate on Crunchyroll shouldn't let grass grow under their feet either, its also been licensed by Funimation, so the streaming licensed could well expire 30 days after the end of the current season.
Why yes, yes I do. And Yes I am.

Once I watch something, it no longer matters to me if i've paid for it or not, because i'm done watching it. I own "1" dvd, I watched it once, and it's sat there on my shelf since.

That's my point, take it how you like.
That's completely different to what you said the first time. The first time, you implied that you do rewatch series, so Crunchyroll will be losing your repeat views to leech streaming sites (or Funimation).

Now you say that after you're done watching it, you're done. So what difference does it make where it is after it leaves Crunchyroll? It was on Crunchyroll as a simulcast during the entire season, and stayed up for a second full season after the season finished. That's plenty of time to see it, in higher quality than the leech streaming sites.

Funimation have picked up very few streams, and so far Crunchyroll has obtained second seasons after they had the first season, even when Funimation had already acquired the first season ~ remember Strike Witches.

Funimation will almost certainly not do anything with the manga. You'll have to look for a surviving manga publisher to pick it up.

Have you check DVD sales in the untied states, when it comes to anime? They are pretty pathetic to say the least. Meaning, the fan base talks a big game when it comes to buying DVD's, but in the end it is all talk, since the sale figures prove most fans rather watch anime for free.
