Did anyone else get the impression watching Chaos; Head that it is was completely rushed toward the end? Like, rushed to point of ridiculous..... What started out as captivating psychological intrigue unravelled by the end to simply be a complete "I've seen this before, done waaaay better...." type of thing... At least in my eyes... I don't know.... maybe its just me but I felt as though things just became too far fetched toward the ending (in order to end things that is...) to make any sense..... And worst of all, in spite of the fact that the writers completely just allowed the laws of reality to become unbelievably warped to suit a quick wrap up of things, there still remained a ton of loose ends....

With how dissapointing this turned out to be by the end I am hesitant to even give Steins Gate a chance... not to be a negative nelly, but I've recently come across a slew of series that start off promising only to totally turn me off halfway through..... Anyone watching steins gate care to provide some insight?

Steins;Gate is much better than Chaos;Head, I was skeptical at first when I started the series as it got off to a slow start but it really came together and is by far one of the best anime releases of 2011. Of course this is all my opinion and there might be others who have a different opinion but I love this series so far.

I think Steins Gate came together a lot better. It was a little slow in the beginning, but it progressed really well.

Stein's Gate received rave reviews from many different sites.
I haven't been following it 'cause I got a little confused but I will wait for it to finish airing so I can watch the whole thing.

I also liked Chaos; Head but I'd also say it can't compare to Stein's; Gate.

I'm going to say that I enjoyed Chaos;Head more as a visual novel than an anime, whereas I believe Steins;Gate was better as an anime.

Chaos;Head is a pile of donkey turd, but Steins;Gate is not.

So yes you should give Steins;Gate a try.
