I was wondering why when some anime companies(ex:Bandai and Aniplex)subs don't have honorifics.I can understand in dubs(with the voicetrack in english)but in subs it bugs the crap outta me because you hear the( -san,-sama ect.)while the subs don't have them.

in all honesty there really isn't a need. If you can hear it then it's fine in my case it's just much eaiser to do for subbers to do and it's been that way for years now. Fan-subbers are the ones that started to use the sama, chan etc if i remember correctly..

if you know/are learning japanese you would know/will know what it means but not everyone understands the honorific,
sometimes they are not needed like for example: "Okaerinasaimase, goshujin-sama" translated is "Welcome home, Master" so it wouldn't make sense to have it like this: "Welcome home, Master-sama"

i guess they don't want to complicate things, really it isn't a big deal, its a lost in translation situation

It's unnecessary. I don't need to know what -san, -sama, -kun or whatever mean because I already know what they mean. That's why the anime companies don't do it.

you're assuming the viewers even recognize the honorific's existence. someone new to non-dubbed anime and japanese wouldnt readily recognize what japanese honorific would be or what they mean

if anything if they do start to wonder what they mean they can Google search japanese honorifics (it's called tangential learning)
