I bet everyone who needs Comipo would gladly trade the product in in order to know how to draw. Unfortunately that's impossible for us. If you feel like this program is trivializing your work then it was trivial to begin with. |

I also recommend that anyone who has a question about the program should get in touch with
https://twitter.com/#!/ComiPo_Info_en They are responding the fastest and are closet to the development team. Thanks (and lots more great work here to marvel at, BTW!) |

Also, I did ask Jason to correct some errors in his ANN review, but he said that his editor did not like to change text after it was published (read: someone is lazy). He added some additional information in the forums instead. I don't know where he got the "public morals" angle ether...

I think he read to far into the EULA but I did find what he was talking about though. There is something in the EULA that does in fact say that you can't use the software against public order and morals. 4. LIMITATIONS 1 You may not ... (7) infringe publicity right or copyright of any third party, or use SOFTWARE by means against public order or morals. Lord only know what they ment by this but I am sure this is what he was talking about. I sent an email to their english support asking for clarification or at least a definition of these terms as they could mean anything. I am assuming this is just a bad translation. |

I understand where this can help people who are learning so I see it as a good tool but I hope that people don't underestimate their true abilities. |

Current status: Drawing per usual...

I love it, not many people have been using expressions properly to tell a story. |

I actually hire artists to do work for me every once in a while. I still plan on doing that even with this program out. even if their was a better program out I would still hire artists with natural talent. It just looks better in my opinion. |

Heres the new comic ive been working on over the past couple of days, trying out the various monotone filters and trying to get a feel for representing motion and speed (which i still dont feel very good at). I will admit that I cheated a little with page 4, had to use MS paint to erase half their bodies and some scenery, because I spent hours trying to find a way to do it in Comipo and couldn't find a way.
Eventually I want to work this sequence into a full storyline ive been working on, only when I do that the ball is going to cause alot more carnage (i envision a room full of girls getting their skirts flipped up by the wind, then the ball plowing into a parked car and exploding :P) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
