I've been waiting for this software to come out for a long time! I'm getting lots of good tips from you guys.
Here's my attempt at an action scene. I admit that after all the Manga I've read I still don't have a hang on the effects stuff. LOL!

Hey Hazegurl!
Great first attempt! Very dramatic...
I need to try out an action scene as well... Hope to have a new comic made by this weekend to share with y'all.

The images on the blackboard where probably harder to do than if I had just broken out my wacom tablet and drew them by hand. Still, it was fun and I didn't realize until later how tiny the board was. Just blame it on Blue's delusional nature.

i really want to give this software a try. i've written a couple of books and 7 albums, but never a manga/comic.
the software looks really good, and i think if you have good CONTENT and a story -- you could really make something worthwhile with the software, maybe even good enough that you could get a real company interested in producing your work.
i wold think that the story and content are the most important part of any manga - obviously the art is important, and very visually delicious - but without a good story and content, it's just visual eye-candy......
as soon as i have some spare $$$, i will just have to buy the software. how hard is everyone finding it to use?

Its pretty easy and gets easier as you go along. Manipulating the models is pretty straightforward and the only real learning curve I've found is with objects. As you said, its the story that matters. My first chapter of Hachi:Blue is a little haphazard, but subsequent chapters should have more direction. That was planned of course, as some space was needed to learn the tools. Its fun, though time consuming. Still I try to do at least one page a day if I can.

After almost a couple weeks of hard work, I've finally finished Chapter 1 of my manga! Please tell me what you think! Also, viewer discretion is advised! *I made some small changes to the outlines of a certain character in the manga.

Wow Lord of hearts! That's a great first chapter! I love how your characters look compared to the background, did you do that in comipo?
I've decided to break comipo's immoral rule by creating a small one shot Hentai Manga called 'The Perverted Science Teacher" I don't know if i should put it in my album so I will post it here.
My thanks go out to the real artists who drew the pictures I just Photoshopped (crappie I may add lol!). You can find them on Gelbooru (if you're into that sort of thing).

Update: I was told someone could report me for this post so I removed the page with the sex just to be on the safe side.
Would I be able to add it to my photo album? If not oh well, it was fun breaking the comipo rule while it lasted

It was all made in ComiPo! Every single bit of it except for the backgrounds, of course. I suck too much at drawing to have made those backgrounds.

Might want to do something with the guy on the 4th page as far as outlines are concerned though, because you cant tell were his legs end and his torso begins. Took me a few seconds to realise he was crouching....
