Are you comfortable with watching a lot of anime in your dorms? Can you handle watching fanservicey scenes in front of your roommates, or do you find it too embarrassing?

Ever got a roommate interested in anime? Share those anime-related college stories!

When I was in college it was common for guys to have porn. (Magazines, Videos). No one cared.

No one cared if I was watching anime.

Yes, I'm not in college, but the people with me have to put up with it or GTFO.

Isn't it annoying if they're loud? Unless you have headphones.

When I lived in the dorms and had a roommate, it was a little tricky. 2 of my 3 roomates hated the stuff, and 1 of them was a little tolerant of it. The end result is that I would watch it at my then gf's house or with headphones on my computer. I live by myself right now, so I watch it whenever I want, but when I had roomates it was a little more difficult, but I still watched it.

When I was a student it didn´t bother me, now later in life it still does not bother me.
If people don´t like what they see then they are free to leave.

I almost got a friend interested in Vampire Knight, but I thought it might be too mature for her. I would happily talk about it with someone if they asked what its about. I never watch it in front of my parents or friends. I do watch it in front of my brothers because they usually sit down and watch it too. (well, depending on what I'm watching)
I get really embarrassed to watch it in front of people who dont like it or have never heard about it.

well in my first and second year of college since I didn't have roomate so I didn't worry about about how to watch anime. But this year I had a roomate so I was worried of how I was going to watch anime anyway I was worrying over nothing because one night my roomate was watching a random anime and she liked it. then she asked for more series since she knows I like anime. so yeah at first was kinda of shocked seeing I thought she would didn't like (she is a friend from hs) so yeah I was wrong. but I am happy I have someone to share by love for anime/manga

im not even in collage, lmao. but i dont mind watching anime in front of my family, sometimes it annoys them though, but one of my sisters likes anime anyway, and the other is more tolerant than the other, lol. its still annoying for some of them though, i think.
