About Fairy Tail

Lol. Yes, I am a prude, I won't deny it. I'm just sick that anime tends to have three focuses:

1. Profit.
2. Ease of creation.
3. Fan service.

I want to see more fighting, and less pointless scenes. I can see I'm overreacting, but it IS getting very tiring. I remember only two points of "Fan service" in bleach. The first was when Yor...Yoru...The cat-girl stripped, and the second where the...Uh...Lieutenant of the white-haired kid got drunk. But those were pretty mild.

Oh god, I'm exhausted. Considering I just slept for nine hours, that's quite the achievement.

Anybody ages 6-18 are kids to me. That includes I, of course. When you bed your first woman, or kill your first man, THEN you may cast off the title of "Child". Something I have yet to do...

You complain about Erza's chest expanding slightly and everybody hops onto the horrified band wagon, yet nobody has complained about Matsumoto Rangiku yet.... My mind = Blown.

But it's already been mentioned that the scene was in the manga too. Even the latest chapter of the manga has a scene very similar scene to that one. Your just one of those delusional fans who think that a manga will always be better than anime.

Lmao, is this the best you can come up with? The worst trolls from Gamefaqs are better than this.

Fine I'll play your assumption game. I bet you're one of the many ANImuu fans that are constantly butthurt about how various English dubbed anime don't add the "san, sama, dono, chan, and kun" in their sentences because you like feeling like a anime elitist even though in real life you barely know anything about the Japanese language (besides the basics) and will most likely never learn Japanese.

Seriously now even if the the excess amount of sexual fanservice, gag, and slapstick comedy has been the same as the manga, the anime version likes to drag those scenes forever, whereas the manga version it usually ends in 2-3 panels.

Sorry but I haven't watched a dubbed anime in years, I couldn't care less what they have in them.

You mean like the 4 full pages from the manga version of this episode?

Fairy Tail isn't a bad adaption. If you believe the manga is better than the anime, fair enough, but at least provide an actual reason and not some random crap that makes it obvious your just looking for an excuse to say that mangas are better than their anime counterparts.

So you want me to go re-watch all those episodes and reread all those chapters to give a in-depth comparison, you're insane. Depending on how hectic my next few weeks are going to be I might do it, but I promise you nothing.

Remember that where you live has a lot to do with the amount of censorship
and the US is stricter than most. PG-13 Mature Content warning covers it..

Belive me a 13- 16 yr old wont be drooling as it is playing.

I agree! At least Erza and Rangiku's chests are attractive! Unlike those girls from H.S.O.T.D.

FYI, the official abbreviation is HOTD. I am certain the double meaning is quite intentional.

That may be the "official" abbreviation, BUT IT'S WRONG! It's two words "High School", not "Highschool". The marketing department is free to make whatever lame jokes they want, but the rest of us don't have to follow suit.

If you look at the cover of the first volume of the manga, you'll notice it is "Highschool" with no space. Like it or not, that is the title. Given that the Japanese term for high school is "kōtōgakkō", it is somewhat understandable why they would not separate it into two words.

Back to the acronym, try searching for HSOTD on Google, and it will ask you if you meant HOTD instead and present the results for that.

You can try swimming against the current if you want, but expect a lot of resistance.

I watched the first few episodes of fairy tale when it was originally released and lost interest in it rather quickly. Maybe I wasn't giving it a fair chance but my initial impression was that it was a cookie cutter anime for kids.

Honestly I forgot it even existed until every other preview clip on the CR front page had a giant pair of tits on it. That definitely wasn't part of the show I remembered watching.

Maybe I'm that percentile of the viewing public that ruins everything for the sophisticated Bourgeois anime viewers who see any carnal leanings as a complete impediment to the content of a story, but the fact remains that boobs got me to give the show a second chance and I've found myself intrigued by some of the themes I've encountered during the short subset of the story I've seen so far.

Glory to the Proletittyat!
