*Dante only sighed*

*back at the clearing Jason had charged me and i launched myself to the air, just barely missing his attack. I dive bombed down swinging my scythe. He jumped back but as my scythe stuck into the ground i swung myself around causing my feet to connect with his face. Making him stagger back. Then i landed removed my scythe then took a few steps back waiting for his counter*

I waited, patiently... kind of. I was twirling a piece of grass when movement in the bushes caught my attention.
I quickly sat up and rolled my shoulder, "Alright, lint licker, show yourself."
A small demon, demon none the less, waddled up to me. He was about as high as my knees.
I kneeled down, "You're a short little bastard aren't ya?"
The demon snorted, "Looks are deceiving, my idiot friend."
I glared at him, "Be careful, or I might just punt you."
The demon bowed, "I am not here for violence, quite yet. I am here to retrieve what it rightfully my masters."
I patted his head, "Well then, your master is going to be pissed. The new owner of your masters belonging, wont be giving it up too soon. But I'll tell you what.... I can give you and I.O.U...."
"That will not be acceptable...."
"How about a cookie? You seem like a cookie kind of guy. Maybe a ride on the kiddie rides.... since you're too short to ride the...."
"ENOUGH! I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS ANY LONGER!"
"Short fuse?"
"STOP THAT?"
"Maybe if you're good this year Santa will let you ride in the slay, like all the other good elves."
"YOU STUPID BI-"
I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and punted him, sending him flying to the next street.

*me and Jason stared eachother down we fought a few more rounds and i was able to land a good amount of blows but they healed faster than mine would. If i was going to go through with this plan i needed to finish this soon*

*I was beginning to calm down pretty well, and was able to get enough control over myself than they last time. But then again why blow this? This was one of the few times I'm able to get Vero alone and just fuck with her, why stop a good thing so soon? I rammed my fist into the ground again, a shockwave pulsed towards her. As she dodged the attack, I lunged to the side and grabbed her wrist, hoisting her up in the air* "Is it just me, or are you going easy on me?"

*i smirked as we went air borne, thats when i had my white orb and forced it in the same spot DeAngelo put his, removing the black orb completely and letting Jason gain FULL control once again. Yet he didnt put me down so i connected my foot with his face, landed and slashed my scythe across his abdomen. Now he was on the ground and i was the one standing. I let my scythe disappear and walked over to him*
Im not in the mood for games...

*back in the trees DeAngelo smiled.*
DeAngelo: Interesting. It seems like she has HIS power after all.
*and with that he left without a single trace*

*I sigh in content* "Well it was good while it lasted..." *I continued to lay there, putting my hands behind my head as my body slowly turned to its normal self.*

Come on lets get to DMC so i can go an get KIT then head home.
*i helped him up. we both had some damage done so we sort of acted as the others' crutch on the walk back, but on the brighter side the rain calmed down quite a bit. We headed north toward the woods after arguing for god knows how long on which way to go but after winning best 2 out of 3 in rock paper scissors the arguement was over and we were making our way slowly back*

"Ya'know I'm glad I ignored your orders... Even if you'll give me hell for it."

*i sigh and of course answered that stupid statement with the obvious answer*

*as we helped eachother over yet another fallen tree me slipping but Jason steading me as best as he could without slipping himself*

*I stare at her strangely, as if the answer wasn't obvious.* Obviously not... "Eh, Andon would through a fit and then I'd have to kill the only family I have left... Like you."

*i kept silent for a moment. quite honestly thats about the first time in my life any one has said to me. Yea i had those rare chances of someone caring about me but no one ever said i was family. I wasnt used to this sort of situation.*

I wouldve been fine without your help. Clearly my past has caught up with me...and quite honestly i thought i left at least that portion in the dust...but now...*i cant get away peacefully this time. * *we came to a near by river and stopped for a short break.*
