Usually it takes me about 10 - 15 minutes the first time a read a chapter online, (30-45min if reading a volume) especially if it is one that I really want enough to purchase, and to get through because I want to know what is going to happen.

And then if the series is really good, I will go back and read it again a little slower, and in the case of Skip Beat, I will go back a third and fourth time to read it and discover things I missed from the first or even second read. Pay closer attention to the drawings and the dialog.

I think I've read Skip Beat at least 6 times, and on paperback because I have all the volumes up until 28. 29-31 are coming in June. And there are still little things I may have missed before. It's exciting when I see something new. When the last three come out I'm going to start from vol. 1 and read all the way through again just so it'll be fresh in my mind.

I'm a fast reader, so it'll take around 5 or a little more minutes to read a chapter (depending on how long the chapter is) and for a manga volume, around 20 to 35 minutes to read a volume.

Some fast readers I see here. Took me 4-5 hours over the course of 3 days to read one volume of Fumi Yoshinaga's Öoku.
1-2 hours per volume for some others I have read.
So Yeah... I'm not that fast.

I think it depends on the series also, so it can take me anywhere from 30-60 minutes to finish one book.

If I own the tankobon I usually read a couple of chapters a day to make the entertainment last. I also usually read like 2 or 3 different series at a time. At this current moment I am reading volume 5 of Rurouni Kenshin, volume 1 of Lucky Star, and volume 2 of the Shinji Ikari Raising Project.

1 chapter takes me about 5 minutes online.
Reading an entire volume = ~30 minutes at most
Those big 3-in-1 volumes = 1 hour.
