Ao no Exorcist
(♥A unique concept butchered by terrible voice acting and direction.
♥Tries too hard to copy and/or surpass Bleach, FMA:B & D. Gray-Man.)

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai
(♥I love it, but I just can't @ all the deluded saying this is better than Clannad ~After Story~)

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni!
(♥Big disappointment. I can't believe people are praising such a terrible sequel. Makes me hate it even more.)

Deadman Wonderland
(♥Bitches please, this is not the new Elfen Lied.)

you probably gave up before episode 7. I do agree, the first half was as bad as the endless eight. but the second half is good!!!!!!

2011 hasn't been a great year for anime...... YET!

I can't say much until autumn season fully comes, but.........

AnoHana
-

I fully loved this anime and it's story, along with the script writing is amazing as well...... but............

what about it? just waht character made a lasting impression on me? the closest answer was Yukiatsu, which WAS NOT positive. overall, this series is GREAT, but way too overrated, I mean look at the sales!

Deadman Wonderland - (UNITED STATES ONLY!
!)

waht can I say? this anime was 1 word, Unsatisifying. and people here is saying "ZOMG best anime in years!!"
but look at the sales in Japan, looks like someone won't be getting a season 2!

Ao no Exorcist

the last volume sold over 400000 in the first week. serious? Fujoshi really are the best costumers......
putting the jokes aside. this series was overrated. because what does it have really? battles. and other things. this is in no way as developed as in the top 3(one piece, naruto, bleach). thougth I like it beaue it is only 24 episoded.

that's kind of it................

OVER 400000 IN THE FIRST WEEK?!

kidding ...400,000... right ?

Nurarhiyon no mago is written better than Ao no Exorcist and that one is underrated.I have been comparing this two for some reason .
Anyway, I mean just pass the second half of the anime was doing well but I always wonder how they were going to do the story when the manga is not far nor fully developed. And I was right the writing started getting messed up.The pace was slower and then they rushed the story.

funny a lot of people saying Deadman Wonderland and Blue Exorcist and I like them both!

The first time ever since I've been watching ongoing anime online I actually dropped a few this summer. I'm not sure if they are considered overrated but the one that disappointed me the most was Blood-C. They made it seem like it was going to be great and by episode 9 I dropped it. I couldn't take this version of Saya anymore I love Clamp and all but this was a flop. I love Blood+ and Blood the Last Vampire But this one puts the franchise to shame. I even heard there was going to be a movie.

Deadman Wonderland & No. 6 were really good animes. I cannot understand why anyone would think otherwise. I don't think Deadman Wonderland 'ended', either. There are 47 volumes of the manga. If the anime stops, don't blame the writers for ended it weird. Just go read the manga if you want to find out what happens. As for No. 6, it IS possible to like something without paying attention to the fandom. Several instances come to mind.
What has been overrated in my experience? Naruto for one. D-Gray Man definitely. So many of my friends told me to see it - I did & blah. I don't like the artwork at all.

Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu wasn't overrated at all, and was vastly superior to S1. It actually went and gave depth and development to the characters while being comedic at the same time (unlike the first season which just focused on pure comedy).

Don't get me started on Ano Hi. It was a great show, and not overrated in the least. Besides that, I have no idea why you're comparing it to Clannad. The only thing Ani Hi and Clannad have in common is the death of love interests...

No really, it's like comparing Code Geass to Gundam Wing.

What really is overrated? Blood-C.

Blood C? I didn't even know that many people watch that. I love Ao No Exorcist too, but you have to admit, the anime is overrated, right? (Especially since the manga isn't finished, thus rushing and messing up the story. They made Yukio an idiot!)

I love No.6, even though it has 2 males kissing at one time, but I'm fine with that since it's not totally yaoi. Besides, I don't hate homosexuals unless they are in love with me lol. I totally love No.6 because of the story. not sure if it's overrated though.

Was Blood-C hyped up before release?

I guess it was because of the Blood franchise and of CLAMP,...well If it was then that show was definitely overated all the way.Its horrible.I sure wasted my time watching that anime. And a lot really had negativie feedback for that anime.

Seems like Ao no Exorcist is getting alot of vote. I did too but I really liked this anime , I just think the writing started to crumble past mid point.

I can't really have an opinion basing it on the manga since I only have the first 3 vols of it and I don't like reading manga online. I do like the manga a lot more than the anime but because of the anime I got into the manga so I'll give it that. (Even though I do think they are trying to compete with Bleach but that's just me)

Oh god Blood-C was just downright awful. Like I said before, I love ANE, but they could've done much better with the story later on. If only they put Kazue Kato as the script writer. Better results for sure!

I didn't think anything was "overrated", but I thought this season was insanely bland. Poor writing all around.

Most shows were forgettable generic throwaways. It seemed many VA were mailing in their performances. For me, the biggest disappointment was Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni!. What a waste.

I liked the character designs in Blood-C, but the acting was fair and the script was wretched. In the end, ramming a steel pole through my abdomen would have been less painful.

A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives was just a mess. Not horrible, but that script...meh. Cat God was an absolute pointless bore.

Shows I liked:

- Kamisama no Memo-chou (don't know why...wasn't that great, but stuck with me)
- Ikoku Meiro no Croisée (slow, sometimes dreadful, but I like the character designs).
- Blue Exorcist (I like the story, character designs)

=^.^=

Thank goodness I wasn't the only one thinking that...

Anyway , I wonder if Kato sensei had any input on the new story line they developed for ANE, I know mangakas are horrible busy but its his manga.

But yeah, Blood -C was indeed an overated terrible anime. The story is really bad, no character development .

AnoHana

While it was good, it was definitely not a masterpiece (according to ANN ratings done by users). There was a lot of crying which turned me off and felt annoyed. It was good but it wasn't masterpiece level.
