i never said i hated OP, i simply think that its overrated.

Don't get me started on this. Saying something is "overrated" is an obvious expression of hate.

because i dont feel like shutting up and keeping it to myself, just like how you dont shut up and keep your comments to yourself.

I would'nt even have to say anything if you didn't flame One Piece. First of all, you're in the wrong thread. I thought I made this clear?
Or maybe you just can't take One Piece out of your mouth?

so what if i am??

And this is why we're arguing.

i have seen around 15 episodes of OP, and if you want to know how i progressed that far: a friend told me she really liked it,

You have an awesome friend.

so i watched one episode, then i stopped for a week, then i thought id give it another go, and i watched more upto ep 15, but then i got slightly bored of it, and thats when i found hell girl, which i found i would rather watch.

You picked Jigoku Shoujo over One Piece?

i dont have to see every last facking episode of OP to know if i'll like it or not, just like how you dont have to actually kill yourself to know that you dont want to die (unless you do actually wanna die, but that was just for an example)

That's one reason why you shouldn't talk shit about One Piece. You only saw 15 "facking" episodes of it. I wouldn't even bother talking to you if you flamed it AFTER watching a good amount of episodes of it.
But no, 15? Really? You're calling an anime overrated after seeing what, 1% of it?

Stay pressed.

Your opinion is not very convincing, sorry. But you tried though.

Dragon Crisis: No real aim as to where the story goes other than introduce character deal with character and repeat.
Beelzebub: I couldn't find a reason to keep watching this. I couldn't get interested in a show that surrounds school thugs and a naked baby.
Mitsudomoe: I loved this show and they gave it the axe and cut the second season to just eight episodes.
Battle Girls - Time Paradox: Watched the whole series, but kinda let down with the story, but watched anyway.
A Dark Rabbit has Seven Lives: Watched this series through too, and found that some details were left out, the story was rushed, and added characters just for the sake of adding characters. I felt like I was watching Demon King Daimao again. Boy did I hate DKD

Well i have a friend who has the same feelings for Beelzebub like you do but I have fun watching this one.It makes me laugh and thats one reason why its hanging out in the top 20 anime ranking for the past 3 season. And it follows the manga pretty well.

But I am with you with Dark Rabbit, the animation is pretty cheap too.Dont know if this was hyped thoug

Because if that's the case cut out the OP FLAME WAR!!!

Oh for me it's probably...... Dragon crisis. Or ao no exorcist, manga is way better. Dragon crisis's rating is SO HIGH!

not exactly, but if thats your interpretation of saying something is overrated then thats fine.

yeah, that friend of mine is really awesome, because she doesnt start having a mickey fit over the fact that i dont watch OP

you picked OP over hell girl?

i can actually.

i wasnt talking shit, it was just a simple opinion. i dont think you would be having heart burns if i bummed OP to a pulp after only seeing 15 episodes, but just because im not to keen on it you are getting all aggressive, saying that i must watch 5 seasons of it to make up my mind- now thats what i call typical.

For the last time. YOU ARE IN THE WRONG THREAD.
This isn't about the most overrated anime OF ALL TIME. Don't you see the thread title? It says right there TWENTY FUCKING ELEVEN.
I got the impression that you hated it because you brought One Piece up in this thread when it wasn't supposed to be counted.

And yes I picked One Piece over Hell Girl.
But unlike you, I've seen both of them. (finished Hell Boring Girl by the way)

Simple opinion in the wrong thread. Are you really that stupid to not understand that?
Talk shit about it in some other thread where it fucking belongs.

And you're still not getting it. Your opinion is invalid because it just is.
You haven't seen a good amount of episodes of One Piece so opinions coming from you are, you know, BLEH.

saying that i must watch 5 seasons of it to make up my mind- now thats what i call typical.

Then typical it is. But it doesn't change the fact you're just one of those typical haters who JOINED the bandwagon of hate
towards One Piece 'cause she just doesn't have anything better to do.

You don't really have a solid reason. Well why would you? You didn't watch it.
You're just joining in with those lost souls who hate One Piece for being long and successful.
Just admit it. Bleach is failing and you're being a jealous cunt.

Let's see which of us gets reported first.

sorry, i thought 'most overrated anime this year' meant that it can be any anime so long as its bein overrated this year.
i didnt mean to come across as though i hated it, thats the thing with writing online, people cant see your expression so they cant really tell if your being horrible, or angry, or kind, and calm.

i really liked hell girl, i especially love the computer-ish parts, they were awesome.

well if you think my opinion is invalid then so be it, i just thought it was valid because it was my opinon.

how many times do i have to tell you for you to understand, i dont hate one piece, i just am not a big fan. i dont mind if its long or not, there are other animes that are also very long. why do you have to keep on bringing bleach into this? and for your info the bleach manga is the 4th most popular and one piece is 7th, so even if the anime was failing (which btw it only is because of the nozomi filler) why would i care??

Hm....Beelzebub......Well, would you get interested in an anime that involves a demonic baby who is also the son of the Demon King that a 17 year old human delinquent was forced to raise as the father or else he'll get killed by the baby himself or by the demonic maid, Hilda, that keeps him in check? I find that VERY interesting. It's like you're raising a baby tiger. You know. It starts as loving you as the parent you are, but when it grows, it starts to become aggressive towards you. I wonder if Beelzebub will act like that, or will turn out to be good, which will maybe piss off the Demon King and/or Hilda, resulting in trying to kill him? Oh, the interests!
Also this anime is mostly comedy, and it's very good in that genre. It has extremely lovable characters, and the art is beautiful! It's cool that you're disappointed though. Not mad at all, but I rarely hear that Beelzebub is disappointing. Your one of the first few that said that.

Just wanted to type this because......I guess I was bored. :3

But yea I think Beelzebub is pretty overrated. It started out well but slowly got dull. The animation isn't done very well either besides the Openings and Endings.I do still follow the manga though because I have nothing better to do...

This was your first post:

one piece is definitely overrated, its not that good in my opinion, sure there are funny moments, but it does not deserve all of the views it gets.

Gurl..... You obviously have something against OP. You don't hate it?
Well your posts say otherwise.

i dont mind if its long or not, there are other animes that are also very long. why do you have to keep on bringing bleach into this?

You brought OP into this. I'm dragging your fave too.

and for your info the bleach manga is the 4th most popular and one piece is 7th,

Where did you get that info? I wanna see some receipts.
Although OP sales are numbers Bleach can only dream of.

'One Piece' Breaks Sales Records, Possible 2 Year Storyline Jump

Long-running comic 'One Piece' continues to smash sales records

One Piece Takes Top 5 Spots in 2010 Comic Rankings

so even if the anime was failing (which btw it only is because of the nozomi filler) why would i care??

Aaw. Good for you. So positive.

EDIT: Ohh Beelzebub. I don't want to drag this because I think Bel-bo is cute.
I'm shutting up
.

But let me just say, the setting/concept/whatever of Beelzebub is pretty unique.
I don't like how they're going with this though.
The current arc is showing me Reborn teas. So cliche.
And the comedy? It tries too hard
.

Seriously. I'M SHUTTING UP NOW.

Lol yea I don't think it's as interesting as it was when it first started. I guess I might be expecting too much. I'm just hoping it does get better because it really has a unique concept. It needs more than just good comedy.

Maybe the action scenes needs more buff? The comedy is, by far, the biggest reason why I love Beelzebub. It's really funny. I think it is going to return to Oga raising Beelzebub instead of doing, well, normal high school stuff, such as High School vs High School. How do I know this? It's following the manga quite well, so it should be going back to the main subject of the plot pretty soon.

EDIT: Oh yeah. Comedy anime is my most favorite type of anime, so I'm pretty biased on why I like Beelzebub. Like chrome mist said though, they are trying too hard. I find that they are getting better though (I loved episode 32 :3).

Oh, I know the premise of the show. I've watched from episode 1 to at most ep. 25. I kinda liked it up to about 20 then started to go flat (to me) after that. I relate my feelings about Baby Beel to eating a three pound hamburger. Go in starving, everything is great, but at one point you take a bite and find it's not as good as it once was and just put it down and walk away. I'm sure it follows the manga faithfully, but this isn't my thing anymore. I tend to like the slice of life shows with other genre's sprinkled in. I loved Sora no Woto, Nichijou and Usagi Drop but disliked Elfen Lied (I did see all of elfen lied). I watched and liked HSotD, Deadman Wonderland and Occult Academy but maybe I wouldn't have lost interest in Beel, or Gintama if it wasn't so long. I did see the Gintama/SKET Dance crossover out of curiosity. Rather liked Durarara too!

I love comedy too. I love Sket Dance, Gintama, and the like, but they have more than just comedy to keep it interesting. Sket Dance and Gintama both have messages and they have very emotional moments. Also Gintama has some great action scenes too. Yea so I'm basically saying that it either needs to step it up on the action or add something else interesting to it. I do like the direction the manga is going right now though it seems like it is getting better but nothing extraordinary. I think the anime needs a facelift though.
