On the new Roku 2 series, they dropped the Ethernet port from all but the top end ($99) model.

I think a lot of people were disappointed by that, since wireless isn't a good choice for streaming in many environments.

The NXP chip they used before incorporated a Ethernet controller, whereas the new Broadcom one does not. On the top end unit, a chip is added that supports both Ethernet and USB.

I'm not sure this the right place to post this but here goes.
About a month ago I started to have problems with the respond time of my Remote on my Roku 2, which seems now it only occurs on the Crunchyroll channel.

At first I suspected the batteries were low so I changed them, it seems like that did the job but the problem came back.

Second I assumed the Remote was the problem so then I started using a Ri remote that worked for about a few days.

Third thing I tried using a Web App Remote but I still have the same problem.

Since then I've noticed it only occurs on the Crunchyroll channel.
Lately I just use the Ri Remote which works fine with all other channels except with the Crunchyroll channel.
About 5 days ago the problem has gotten worse and worse until the Roku doesn't respond to the Remote and the video and sound will start stuttering and stop playing all together.
I can see the light blink on the Roku but noting happens, then it just reboots by itself or goes home after 10 minutes.
Since it seems like it's the channel I already tried removing and adding the channel again but noting seems to work.
I know the channel recently got a new UI, before that I never had that problem until now.
Also I think the last Roku update might have made it worse.

Any one experiencing the same problem with the same channel?
Thanks in advance.

IS there anyway to disable subtitles in the Roku Crunchy Roll App?

No way that I know of. I believe the subtitles on the Roku app are hard encoded, so the only way for CR to offer that option would be to do separate raw encodes of every subtitled show.

Yeah, new app looks much better. Love my Roku, I dumped cable quite awhile ago, and then roku is our cable replacement for our bedroom. Although the wife's not big on Anime, so I don't get to watch to much Crunchyroll in bed, but when I do...

I have a code to use my premium membership on the Roku, but can't find the place to type it in. Went the URL, no place to type in code. Went to the device section under settings, also no place to type in a code. Why so complicated?

If you are talking about the code to enter to link your Roku, go here:
http://www.crunchyroll.com/activate

On that page, you should see the following. If you don't, try an alternate browser, and if that fails, use the contact form to report your problem.

I just read they added 720P to the PS3 application. It has been said it would be added to the roku at some future time. Any idea when? On a 67 inch tv 720p would really be nice. All in all I love the roku app. I have 3 of them now.
